We began operations in 1973 and are now enjoying our 45th year of continuous operation. Projects can range from simple to complex. Whether your project is a full-blown home automation system or a simple one-room surround sound system, we have the requisite skillset and professional accreditations to design, deploy and support those initiatives. Providing turnkey solutions for all manner of audio-video integration. AV Sales, System Design, In-home Service and Installation all fall within our scope of operations. Most Home Automations Systems include one or more of the following sub-systems: Lighting, HVAC, Motorized Blinds, Security & Surveilance, Home Theater Systems, Touch Panels & Remotes and Energy management. While the complexity of these disparate systems can be a bit daunting, careful planning and execution brings it altogether into a highly synergetic and easy to use home control system. Our ultimate goal is to provide high quality professional goods and services and to support those efforts after job completion. Mike Moran knows his business! He installed our system with knowledge and efficiency. It has worked beautifully and Mike has been very responsive on those rare occasions when we have had problems. I would recommend SOUND PLUS WOOD without reservation!!

Extremely knowledgeable and professional! Mike came to our home and walk us through all the available options for our home theater. This can be overwhelming but he was able to simplify everything so we could understand. He not the cheapest in town, but as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." The finished product has exceeding our expectations and we are the envy of the neighborhood. Could not be happier!

Over the years I have worked on numerous projects with Sound Plus Wood. I know of no other firm who is as knowledgeable in all audio / visual electronics, integrated systems ( electric / hvac / custom key pads / remote access ) , thru alarm systems, security cameras / beams / Wi-Fi. From the start to the finish of the jobs that I have worked with Michael on, paying attention to detail and craftsmanship were paramount. And the results spoke for themselves. Sound Plus Wood is Mike Moran, and Mike Moran is Sound Plus Wood. Mike founded the company some 40 years ago, and I first hired him to improve my living room sound system in 1991. Ever since that first experience, Mike has been my go-to guy for anything relating to audio-video and even networking considerations. He has done several jobs for me since, and has stood firmly behind his recommended products, and even more strongly behind his own workmanship. Lest you think, "Yeah, yeah, yeah...Mike is probably a friend, so what am I to expect?" You'd be right. Mike is a friend, but he became a friend as a result of his professional relationship with me; I never knew of him prior to the first time he worked for me.
