I'll try to keep this as short as possible. They installed awful windows that does not help at all with noise reduction. the owner insist that it does help even though I've sent videos of garbage trucks & lawnmowers down the street and I could hear it in my residence. I could even hear small cars driving by. Definitely not what i expected. I don't expect soundproof but my neighbor has impact windows and you don't hear the outside noise as you in my home with these windows. the salesman did not have any samples and did not explain to me all the avail options for impact window. he guaranteed great windows but there's nothing great about these windows. the owner said it's my fault- i should have gotten several estimates and done some research. i agree- it's my fault for trusting them but they're the experienced contractor not me. the owner also stated he wasn't aware I wanted noise reduction. I believe apart from storm protection most consumers expect noise reduction and i would think they would know that since they're the experienced contractors. In addition, a modification was not done because he did not provide the required documentations to the permit department, lied about the reason why the permit was not approved, suggested to do the modification without a permit which I initially agreed to until he installed the awful windows. Owner offered to change my office window at cost but his cost is too high. I confirmed cost prices and he's overcharging. In fact, for approx.$ 1k more they could have installed better quality windows. Instead, I got the lowest grade impact windows. After all this back and forth, I told the owner I do not wish to proceed without a permit so this weekend he explained that the opening I want is too large and i would have to buy new products because the products that HE ordered does not meet the energy efficiency. I called the permit building dept and I was told they requested additional docs to confirm that the products meet the code and for unknown reason he did not provide the documents to proceed with the permit. Instead he had the modification removed. The owner however wants to charge me for the products he wrongfully ordered and other fees for the modification. I should not have to pay for the products that he wrongfully ordered which I cannot use or pay for any fees associated with the modification. this is my horror story. this company obviously does not know what they're selling or consumer's expectation. I am avail if anyone wishes to write to me for any videos I have so you could experience it for your self and don't go through the same issue. there's more to the story but like i said I'm trying to keep it short..

John at Home Improvement Plus has done an astonishing job for us. We used John and his team to help us do some projects on our home as we got it ready for sale. John proved to be terrifically knowledgeable, responsive, fair, honest and kind. He took our projects personally, showing up on weekends, calling us from out of town to check on progress. Plus, he recommended some amazing tradespeople- a great plumber, a carpenter, an HVAC specialist- all who proved to be great. I'd recommend John highly to anyone for projects from one-off home projects to complete renovations, He's the real deal.

We were highly satisfied with Mike and his team. They were skilled, hard working, professional, efficient, clean, and good communicators. Our project (adding one new bathroom, renovating another, adding two large walk-in closets, reconfiguring bedroom walls) was a complete success, delivered on time, with great quality and at estimated and reasonable costs. No surprises, and even a few little extras thrown in, with no significant budget creep. Mike worked well with our architect and other suppliers too. Used HIP again for our family room renovation. Can recommend without hesitation.

Mike and his team did great work, finished on budget and we'll ahead of schedule. Always curious, respectful and friendly. Could not be happier with the results!

Mike and his Home Improvement Plus team did a major remodel of our 1929 colonial home. They did excellent work, were ahead of schedule and stayed on budget. Mike always had great ideas, was incredibly responsive to our requests and always communicated clearly the status of the project. Every day a crew was at the house, on time, getting things done. I felt like Mike built our house as if it was his own. And we love the way the house turned out - we would not have changed a thing.

Our remodeling project was extensive and included demolition, foundation work, structural construction, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, plumbing, electricity, HVAC... Mike and his team did an excellent job. Mikés main concern throughout the project was to deliver what we wanted and to make sure that we were happy with the results. He finished ahead of his initial timeline, there were no surprises in costs, and Mike was very fair in his pricing. He was flexible with various adjustments during the project and never nickle and dimed us. He made the project stressfree and I am was almost sorry when it ended. I would recommend Home Improvement Plus without reservations.

Mike and his crew at Home Improvement Plus were hired to put a large 2-1/2 story addition on our house plus a full size basement office under the addition. The design required some unusual engineering and the results are amazing. We had them create custom moldings to match the originals of our 1874 victorian home and they had no issues handling any of the unique requests we made or the architectural challenges required by the design. I'm also happy to say that they were on time and on budget. We lived through the construction for 9 months so when you see your contractors on a daily basis you really get to know them. These guys were great; incredibly nice guys, respectful of our space and a real pleasure to work with. We were so happy we decided to bring them back a few years later to re-do 2 bathrooms that were not in the scope of the first project. I highly recommend them.
