Lena Munther received her degree from Chelsea School of Art and Design, London in 1984. She then secured an Interior Design position with Platou Architects in Oslo, Norway and for six years specialized in cruise ship design, completing several projects for the Cunard cruise lines, among others. She traveled extensively throughout Europe working with architects in Oslo, Paris, London and Milan on various design projects. In 1991, she founded Munther Design in Oslo and focused on large-scale commercial projects. Her clients included Levi Strauss, McCann Erickson and the Norwegian Military Services. After relocating to the United States she re-established Munther Design and re-ignited her passion for design with projects unique to each client.
