Sparti Mainline

Sparti Mainline recently finished up our home renovation which included adding 100 sq ft off the back of the house, a new kitchen and dining area which are now open concept with the living room and a transformation of the exterior (a new expanded, mostly covered patio, a new covered front porch, new steps/walkways, staining of the brick and new siding.) The Sparti team and the subcontractors they used were very professional and did great work. Peter was easy to work with throughout the project - good with communication and made sure things were done to meet (or exceed) our standards. We are so happy with the end product and highly recommend!

Peter and his team are amazing. Peter is incredibly communicative during every step of the process and schedules his people so that the project keeps moving forward. The work his people does is exacting and on point, especially Dave and Dave! We had an original bathroom from our 1950's house that was cramped and in need of a remodel. It is now an extremely soothing and relaxing room. We are thrilled with the results.

Highly recommend! Peter and his team helped us complete a detached garage with living space above, as well as a mudroom and enclosing a side porch - including a laundry room makeover. We used Peter (Sparti Mainline) for a complete kitchen gut and renovation this Spring. We could not be happier with the outcome and whole process. Everything went smoothly from the design process, through the execution and completion. Peter and his crew(s) were easy to communicate with and every question or concern was handled promptly. Sparti Mainline was a pleasure to work with, as they recently completed a full renovation of our two-story detached garage for us. We had lived in our house for over 25 years, raised 3 wonderful children and were wanting to have a more updated living experience. Our kids had started moving out so we considered purchasing a new home. As we started to look at the real estate market in our area, Berwyn PA we determined that we really loved our neighborhood and all the wonderful memories of our family had experienced so we decided to do a major renovation. We started with an architect Reen Hoffman (who was great), Reen provided the names of several contractors and after vetting 4 we decided on Sparti Mainline, Peter Economou. Right from the start of our relationship Peter was great to work with. He and his team were fantastic communicators. Peter worked with us to bring our dream to reality he had great ideas as we kept wanting to add to the initial project. Peter provided great options and I fully understood the cost and any timing changes would have on the project. I always felt that Peter not only had our best interest at heart but my wallet as well. He gave advice, he did not just do what we asked. That partnership helped us remain on budget and really get what we wanted. His team was awesome from the subs to his specific team they were friendly and professional with great attention to detail. We could not be more please it has totally changed our living experience. We completely re-did our downstairs creating a new kitchen greatroom, new ceilings in our living room front porch and upstairs hallway. We added a significant addition that allowed us to stay on the same footprint but add an enclosed porch and storage area and a new master bedroom with new walk in closets and a master bath. It took longer than expected but it turned out beautifully. Peter was very attentive to our needs and the follow up was done on a timely basis.

Peter's team completed a total renovation of our condo in Devon last year. We gutted the condo, knocked down walls and built an office in dead space within the unit. We love the result. The condo was transformed in exactly the way we had imagined. His team was entirely professional and understood what we wanted to achieve. We are very happy in our home and would definitely hire Peter and Sparti again.

We very much recommend Peter and his crew at Sparti. Professional, courteous, clean and hard working. Sparti completed a basement renovation project for us and we were very pleased with the outcome. We had Peter build out an electric fireplace bump-out, build a new mantle, mount a flat screen TV, and picture frame trim new fireplace area - amongst other items associated with our project. The project was started and completed on time. Pricing remained at the proposal price. His team arrived every day during the project on time. The workers who arrived each day during the project were hard-working, pleasant and personable - and they put up with and enjoyed our 2 dogs. Peter helped us with our basement renovation, which included new floors & paint, reconfiguring a few rooms, converting a half-bath into a full Jack-n-Jill bath, and installing an egress. He listened to what we wanted while at the same time offering helpful suggestions along the way. When unforeseen issues popped up, he worked with us to resolve them as efficiently as possible. His quotes and billing are clearly itemized, transparent and fair. His crew were professional and efficient. The end result is a great new space that our teenage boys can now call their own!

Peter widened our entryway, took down foyer walls, re-tiled our kitchen floor, and added a new bathroom on our third floor. The work is beautiful and high quality. We were out of the country for most of the work and trusted Peter every step with no misgivings what so ever.

Sparti construction (and Peter as general contractor) did a kitchen remodel which included removing an interior wall (between kitchen and dining room), changing heating and plumbing locations, and massive electrical re-wiring. Peter and his crew of meticulous craftsmen were always professional. Peter jumped on board with enthusiasm for our vision and even had some of his own ideas including one for the flooring which made the end result an amazing space. We had several snags with the kitchen cabinets and cabinet supplier and Peter & the crew were extremely professional and flexible trying to stay on our timeline; and also mitigate the inconveniences by the cabinet supplier. Peter coordinated seamlessly and timely with the various subs - who were all great too. Additionally we appreciated the transparent way Sparti manages labor and material costs. We heartily recommend Sparti for projects big and small and we wouldn’t hesitate to call them for our next project.

Once we decided to do a renovation, we knew we had to talk to Peter and Sparti Mainline. Why did we know this? Well, Peter did a major renovation for my sister and brother-in-law and they just raved about his communication, work ethic and his team. We had Peter in to discuss our project and we were extremely impressed right away. We just seemed to connect with him. My wife had a clear vision of what she wanted for our space and Peter was like, yes, let’s do it! He was enthusiastic about the project and had some excellent ideas to put her vision into place. We ultimately hired Peter and team to redo our sunroom. The room was a DIY job by the previous owner, and while it was a cool space, the insulation was poor and it just was not usable at all in the hot summer months or cold winter months. I work from my home and my wife thought it would be ideal to turn this space into a new office for me, and a much smaller, but usable and functional sunroom. Once Peter and his team got started, they were just fantastic. Peter is easy to work with, very communicative and open to critiques and suggestions. His timeline for our job was 6-8 weeks and they wrapped up the project in just about 5 weeks. Not only did the job finish earlier than expected, but we stayed right on budget, which is always important. He has remained in contact to ensure we are happy with everything and to ensure that a few little minor items will be full resolved. I could not recommend Peter any stronger, he's the right fit for your next renovation project!

I hired Sparti Mainline to turn my screened porch into an enclosed dog/workout room. It required window, flooring, and door installation, heating/cooling, lighting and electrical work plus a dog door with steps. They did the job very quickly, were in close communication every step of the way, were on always on time, sometimes going beyond what the job required (clearing existing trash/debris). I already have a list of other projects and will not use anyone else.

Sparti did a fabulous job with the extension of our home. We love how it looks. We appreciate how responsive Peter was in answering any of our questions and keeping us updated every step of the way. We were pleased with the results - we think our house is the best on the block. Thank you Sparti!

i hired this company because had previously done work for me. They installed a new kitchen about 5 years ago. I knew they were reliable and they will come back if there are any problems. This job was for a new Master Bath and a new powder room.. The entire bathroom was being demolished because i was getting rid of a big soaking top and putting in a large walk in shower. Everything is finished and both the bathroom and powder room are beautiful.

The very best part of working with Sparti was how communicative Peter was before, during & after our project. I always felt confident that he would listen to my concerns and that we could find solutions to any surprises that came up. Our new kitchen is stunning and functional. We are so thankful to have had Peter and his team lead complete renovation project! We purchased a fixer-upper in South Philadelphia that we knew we wanted to renovate. It was a gut-reno project that involved nearly every aspect of the house and adding a second story addition off the back (I'd say we took it down to the studs, but those came out, too!). We got multiple groups out for bids, but stopped looking after meeting Peter. You can tell he's a down-to-earth guy who's honest and realistic--which I think are exactly what you want in a Contractor. Peter walked us through every step of the way from budget planning to final execution and keep *consistent and solid communication* from start to finish. Every time we peeked in to see the progress, the house was swept, tidy, and organized (which is something we didn't expect and really appreciated). We could not be happier with the final product! His attention to detail (and that of his team) is outstanding. We're still finding little touches he added in that really make our house shine (the trimming on the custom stairs, the adorable little door to access storage under the stairs, the perfectly flush and level shower tiling, etc.). Sparti will be our contractor for life and we could not recommend them more.

We had several pressing projects we wanted completed prior to the arrival of our baby girl. We looked at several contractors and it was clear during the process that Sparti understood our needs and budget better than the competition. They used some creative solutions to save $$ and time, and gave us excellent guidance when we weren't sure what we wanted. They handled everything from major renovations to minor fixes and touch ups. They were punctual and quick, but thorough and the quality of the work was very high. The GC was here every other day to make sure we were getting everything we wanted. They were versatile enough to handle everything we threw at them, which was a lot. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality work.

From start to finish, Sparti Main Line was a joy to work with. Timely, professional, and responsive at every turn, Peter worked diligently to satisfy our wants, spending a good amount of time sourcing material for our deck that was not readily available. Dmitiri, our onsite project lead and craftsman, emphasis on craftsman, brought his very detail-oriented skills to the job on a daily basis. As with any project, we had a couple of additional requests as they wrapped up, and once again they satisfied our needs. We are delighted with the results. We didn't have the easiest job for Dimitri at Sparti Mainline and he absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. He was professional, responsive, informative, fairly priced, and the work was done well and promptly. We have had several projects done at our house over the past few years, ranging from interior painting, exterior door replacements, finished basements, etc. completed by a handful of different contractors; we've been fortunate enough to have positive experiences with all the contractors but after working with Dimitri at Sparti they will be our first and only call for any future work. They're a must call if you are considering any type of renovation.

Wow! I have my dream house, Peter was able to make it happen at a reasonable price point. He really listened to what I wanted and provided expertise in the construction process and a skilled team. Our project included the addition of round great room with copper roof and stone fireplace, redesign of the front porch and entranceway in stone, redid all bathrooms, and reconfigured my master bedroom suit to increase size with a dormer, expanded master bathroom, added a master closet and sitting area. This was a very large project and Peter managed all of it well.

Peter Economou is exceptionally professional and does an excellent job on budget and on time. His company totally renovated two bathrooms for us. Not only did he help us with our selection of materials that were appropriate for our project but he took great pride in making sure that the projects turned out as we wished and are both beautiful and functional.
