NO SIR is an independent online shop and design brand showcasing Kickass Female Designers in the field of interior design. NO SIR carries an exclusive selection of emerging designers mixed with an exciting edit of established brands. The range includes accessories, jewelry, prints, textiles, lighting, stationary, homeware, furniture and more. Women designers are shockingly under-represented in product and furniture design, either as designers or voices in the discussion about the field. Male and female designers operate under different rules and do not share the same business opportunities. Laziness, old habits, prejudice and systematic exclusion stand in the way of a level playing field. NO SIR is a commercial platform for female designers. In the spirit of recognizing women designers, female/male design duos are also included in the concept. NO SIR is my contribution to more equality and diversity in the design business and a wider range of alternatives on the market, allowing consumers a freedom of choice. Welcome to NO SIR.
