The services provided were excellent. They took care of the permitting making the process painless! The work itself was done in a timely manner and very professionally. Response to queries were prompt! I would hire them again for any remodeling or new construction with no question. A pleasure to work with!!

We chose One Room at a Time, Inc. due to their detailed proposal, knowledge and high recommendations. The ability to have both the architect and on-site construction personnel together as a team streamlined the process of decision making and communication. Upon commencement of the project, you could see the quality and precision of getting things right immediately. They are not a "quick build" type of company but the end product is worth the additional time on site. We love our addition!

I have worked with Stephanie in Architecture for a few years and she is a well accomplished designer, as well as, a pro at interior selections. We worked together on several projects and was always very pleased with the outcome. Steve contracted the last project I worked on and I was extremely pleased with not only his professional attitude but the quality of work. The pictures don't lie...their work is outstanding!

The description of this firm is understated. This husband/wife team both have degrees in architecture with extensive experience in all phases of construction from design to building cabinets to interior design. They both are true professionals who have an eye for quality, detail, and a job done right!

Stephanie and Steve did such a great job. They took our ideas and added to them to create our perfect basement. Stephanie had great insight into what we would like and helped us make the right decisions. Her background is definitely an asset. Steve's expert craftsmanship really shows through throughout the basement. His ideas on how to make our dreams into walls, arches, rooms and fantastic spaces was perfect. They took the extra step to identify a pre-existing problem that required a structural engineer to eval our home and then they took the additional steps to implement the solution. I felt that many others would have missed the subtle signs that he and his crew found. Post remodel, we had them come out to rebuild our chimney that became leaky and they worked on the roof in the hottest day of the entire summer. The entire team at One Room at a Time, Inc was fabulous. They all work well together, were respectful of our privacy and our home and really took pride in their work. We have plans to have them continue with other remodel projects in our home to include a master bathroom remodel and an attic. We give them our highest recommendations and have recommended them to family and friends. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Kommenteret: What the granite color? I want to find it near me in San Diego.Hi Julie, I'm sorry - Houzz questions aren't being emailed to us for some reason. This is Super White (although it's not white - it's a soft grey). Gorgeous and common.

Kommenteret: Door casing and baseHello John, I did not see your question - ages ago! The casing is a 1x4 plus backband and the base is a 1x8 plus custom cut cap and the shoe is similar to door stop (at the jamb). Everything is pretty...
