Mark Patterson, the founder and the President of Patterson Homes, has been in business of custom home building and renovation for over 25 years. After graduating with an engineering degree from Ryerson University Mark established a company that focuses on Personal Building. The essence of Personal Building is that the company provides a positive, customized building experience while maintaining excellent design, quality, and solid ethics. We like to think that we are building a home with you, not just for you. Customer Service is an integral part of our Personal Building process. It begins with the design of your home, continues through the selection of fixtures, hardware, appliances, floor coverings, etc. We appreciate how stressful and time consuming building or renovating could be and try to work around your schedule at locations convenient for you if needed. We offer you personal attention every step of the way during the design process, the construction stage and after you take possession.

Our experience with Patterson Homes was the exact opposite of all the horror stories I had heard about contractors. Mark made the process of our kitchen renovation a real pleasure and the results are stunning, He is very knowledgeable and the tradespeople he brings in are first-rate. His own integrity shows in the quality of the product and in the way he conducts business. All that and the project was delivered on time.

Mark was referred to us by a kitchen designer who had worked with him in the past. This was our third renovation project for our home. Mark and his team were excellent overall. Other than providing an on time, on budget and high quality project, the most rewarding aspect was Mark's responsiveness to any issues that came up during the project. Whether by phone or email, he would respond quickly and professionally to all inquiries. He never left us to handle a problem. He took responsibility for everything and ensured his trades got things done to our satisfaction. It was clear to us that his trades have worked with him for a long time and delivered on his expectations of the work to be completed. Diane and I would recommend him strongly and would certainly use him again in the future.

Mark was super organized and had all the trades showing up on time. The individual trades people he hires are top notch and our project moved along very efficiently and smoothly. He was a pleasure to work with!!

We hired Patterson Homes/Mark Patterson to build our sunroom addition. We were very happy with Mark and would highly recommend Patterson Homes for any home building/renovation projects. From the very start, Mark was attentive to all our questions and concerns, responding to any calls/e-mails/texts immediately. Mark was always willing to accommodate our busy schedules, meeting us at home in the evenings. He did a great job leading us through the selection process. Mark, and all of his workers/sub-contractors, were respectful and hardworking people with high reliability. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. Although the project took a bit longer than anticipated, it was well worth the wait, as the results are top notch. Patterson Homes is truly committed to building a high quality product.

This is the second renovation project that we've done where we've hired Patterson Homes and we were not disappointed. The first project was very extensive (an addition to a 1920's home plus renovation of the existing home) while the second project was on a smaller scale (new bathroom, bedroom, front hall and mudroom). Mark (the owner) is a straight-shooter and prides himself on the quality of his projects. Hi sub-contractors are very professional, friendly, show up on time and stand by their estimates. Mark charges a project management fee rather than adding a percentage to all of his bills so there is a lot of transparency in terms of real costs. If the plumber charges x amount, that's what we pay. Mark is a good problem solver and his communication skills are excellent. In sum, I would highly recommend Patterson Homes. We have in fact recommended him to friends and they have been equally as happy as we have been. We are actually planning to hire them for another project this summer.

Mark is terrific to work with. I found that his knowledge and experience saved us from making several design errors. Thank you Mark. Not only is Mark terrific but all of his Contractors take the same interest and care in doing a great job. We have come to understand the Mark will not bring in a Contractor that does not meet his standards. I know what I am talking about because Mark has managed 3 major projects for us 2004, 2015 and 2016 and we would go back to Mark if we had another project. Thanks Mark! Great work.

Mark was the project manager referred to me by my designers. He was professional, punctual, and easy to collaborate with. He was very responsive to emails and calls. He was able to coordinate and communicate with various trades such as electricians, plumber, carpenter, etc. His expertise, guidance and oversight on the project made the home renovation process much easier. Mark demonstrated professionalism throughout the project and I could always count on him to get the tasks done. I would definitely recommend Mark if you are looking for a project manger to oversee your home renovation project.

Patterson Homes was recommended by our interior designers, and we our quite pleased with the result. Mark Patterson always responded promptly to our calls and texts. The job required a number of tradespeople including electricians, plumber, drywaller, trimmer, painter, tiler, etc. We were pleased with almost all of the people he brought in. They all showed up when they were supposed to and did the job the way they were supposed to do it. If we were unhappy with the result of some of the work, Mark ensured that the person would come back and finish it to our satisfaction. When changes and upgrades were made to the design part way through, Mark was able to work with the new plan and keep the budget to a reasonable amount.

We are 100% happy with our decision to have our custom home project handled by Patterson Homes. Mark Patterson is reliable, efficient, honest, and has excellent work ethics. Our home project was quite a large one, a Tuscan style timber frame home, over 5,000 sq feet of beautiful details! Patterson homes provided excellent trades men and women to meet all the demands dictated by our choice of home style.
