For over 30 years, the Twin Cities most diverse Fireplace Products & Services...in wood, gas, electric stoves, inserts and fireplaces as well as hearth and fireplace accessories and essentials. Our showroom features over 35 working models. Woodland Stoves and Fireplaces was established in 1977. A few years later, owner Peter Solac expanded the company to become a full service hearth center featuring the sales, installation and maintenance of wood, gas, electric, and biofuel heating stoves and fireplaces. Our goal at Woodland Stoves is to give you all of the information you need so you are able to make an informed decision about which hearth product is right for you.

I have relied on Peter Solac for sound advice, materials and parts to keep our 25 year old Tulikivi stove operating.

We purchase a fireplace insert from Woodland. Doug the sales representative was very very knowledgeable and helped us decide on what would best fit our needs. Chris and the other installation people did a perfect job - it looks great and the city inspector approved it right away. We can't wait to try it.

Great service, everything exactly as promised! City inspection confirmed quality of work. Woodland Stoves installed a gas log fireplace in our house built in 1912. First, they were very attentive to keeping the house clean, and in an old house with an old fireplace, it was extremely important, because there was a risk of tracking ash everywhere. They were prompt and attentive. The price was competitive. When the city inspector came to inspect, he asked who the contractor was, and they said "this will be an easy inspection. They are the best contractor for this work." That was heartening. Also, they were at pains to teach us how to operate the gas fireplace, and explained the new piping installed, and the valves, so we would understand what they did. It wasn't an easy project, and I was impressed with their work.

I highly recommend Woodland Stoves & Fireplaces. They provide great service, are easy to work with, helpful, and knowledgeable. The sales people are quick to answer questions and the installers are courteous.

Woodland installed a new gas insert fireplace in our home. The process involves the input and expertise of many individuals and includes numerous decisions and phases for a successful install. Everyone we dealt with at Woodland was professional, courteous, knowledgable and helpful. They made good suggestions and did exactly what they said they would do in the timeframe promised and the cost quoted. When everything was complete, they made sure we knew exactly how to use the unit's many options and keep it running into the future. I would use Woodland again in a heartbeat and recommend them highly.

Woodland Stoves was punctual and did exactly what they promised. All their representatives were knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely recommend their products and services.

Lillehammer Jotul stove is wonderful. I choose it upon the recommendation of the store personnel. I am extremely happy with the Jotul stove. Every part of the buying process with Woodland Stoves was pleasant from the conversation in the storeroom to the post - install follow up. The installers were very neat, courteous and helpful in explaining what they were doing. I would shop at Woodland stoves again.

My wife and me purchased a Hearthstone Mansfield wood stove from Woodland stoves. We were very happy with the install of the stove and all of the recommendations on which model to choose. Nice showroom with many models to pick from. Ted, Doug, and Jordan were great to work with. Our stove works great with no problem s , just be sure to use dry wood 20 % or less moisture content.
