We had a wonderful experience working with Randy from Bluebonnet Landscaping. Having contacted 3 landscaping companies to get bids on our backyard project, we felt Randy was the only one that during our first meeting took the time to understand our vision. He walked the property with us to get a feel as to what we wanted and make suggestions to our vision. Randy brought the blueprint of the project to our home to discuss. (The other 2 companies did this either via e-mail or facetime.) The plans included a high-end quote and a low-end quote with the options of meeting the budget anywhere in-between the two. He also at this time discussed the plants, rocks and other materials that would be installed. During the construction phase Randy’s crew had nothing but respect for our property, they picked up after themselves and the conversation level was so acceptable that we rarely knew that they were there. Randy was present often to oversee the project and direct his crew. He took great care in the placement of plants and materials to achieve the look we wanted. The final project was just what we had envisioned and more due to the enhancements that Randy had suggested and the work from his crew. We are very happy with our backyard, and we highly recommend Bluebonnet Landscaping.

Absolutely amazing work and design! We had no idea what we wanted when it came to our landscape so we contacted Bluebonnet after being recommended by our neighbor. After sitting down with Randy and answering his questions, he sketched multiple designs that fell within our budget and thoroughly explained his thought process behind each of them. At no time did he ever push anything on us and was always open to input for changes. Once agreed on what we wanted, we just sat back and watched the magic happen! The Bluebonnet team showed up on time and without haste started work. I have never seen a team that was so efficient and kind! Everyone had a role and knew exactly their place in what they needed to do, at no time was there any confusion or chaos. The most reassuring part of the entire process is that Randy who is the owner/designer was deeply engaged in the entire process. If there was anytime that Randy was not around it was only because he was out scouring the metroplex for only the highest quality plants and materials for the project. The installation was flawless and everything went exactly as planned and discussed well exceeding our needs and expectations. Everything on property was absolutely cared for and treated as if it were their own home. Randy and his team are true professionals in the industry and are masters at their trait. We will definitely be calling upon Bluebonnet Landscape Creations for any future projects. We have received numerous compliments and requests for the project team. Bluebonnet Landscape Creations just completed a redo of our front beds per the attached photo. We had Bluebonnet design and install a landscape project for our previous house and we were so pleased that we had Randy Hardin design and install landscaping for the front of our new home (see attached photos). Randy developed a design that we found very attractive plus addressed our request to include plants that were rabbit resistant. We were impressed with both the size and quality of the plants. The installation crew was very thorough and efficient. This project included installation of a new sprinkler system for the front beds plus a new drystack stone border. At the conclusion of the project installation, Randy provided us with detailed instructions on how to maintain our new landscape. In summary, the quality of the design and the installation process were great. We are extremely pleased with the improved appearance of our home that resulted from our new landscaping.

Bluebonnet Landscape Creations transformed our front yard in Nov. 2020. Randy is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, has a great eye for design and is a pleasure to work with. He came up with a plan to rework our walkway/entry, transplant some existing landscaping and completely redo the beds along the front of our home. He helped us prioritize what would maximize impact on our large lot and also gave us ideas for things we could do on our own to address different areas of our property. Randy is very hands-on and detailed. His crew is great. He has been very good about teaching us how to care for the new plants (happy to say everything survived the Feb. 2021 freeze thanks to his advice) and answering our questions at every stage of the process. We are so pleased that we’re looking forward to working with him on a new project in the backyard. Highly recommend!!

We recently got our front landscape redone by Bluebonnet Landscape Creations and we couldn't be happier!! We'd seen a few homes he'd done in the neighborhood and liked them very much! Right from the start, Randy was great to work with; he looked at the space, how much sun/light the area got, architecture of the house, even the brick color! He patiently explained why the plants he chose would do well. He was also open to my ideas for plants and incorporated changes (I have lots of ideas and questions). The installation went really well and what a transformation in 2 days!! Oscar and the crew were professional and very good. The trees and plants looked great and Randy placed each one himself. He spent time talking with us during the installation, even discussing which way the trees should face to show best. He even included additional plants at no cost because he thought the space needed it or would accent it! His love and excitement for landscape design shows and is infectious! We recommend Bluebonnet Landscape Creations highly - now I have to figure out how soon we can start on our backyard!!

We are thrilled with our new front yard, previously it was a 1980’s dated front yard with no curb appeal, now we are constantly complemented and told we deserve best yard in the neighborhood. We used Bluebonnet Landscape Creations five years ago for our backyard landscaping. They did such a great job, that we just had them back this spring to redesign and install our front landscaping. We have a corner lot, so it was an expansive project. Randy was very collaborative in his process to meld our ideas with his as well as patient with us as we changed our minds. We worked together on a large stone retaining wall which was something they hadn’t done before. It turned out fantastic. His crew was extremely hardworking and completed on time and in budget. Randy is passionate about landscaping and creating a beautiful work of art for homeowners. He has relandscaped two homes in our sub-division and we've watched as he has transformed these two lawns into showplaces. We finally got our chance to hire him to rework our front landscape and we were not disappointed. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. Each plant is hand selected and placed by Randy. His installation team provides a comprehensive approach to both “hardscape” and “softscape”, which translates into a seamless, timely, and efficient project from “tear out” through “clean up”. The crew takes pride in their work and Randy is highly involved throughout. We saw several of Randy’s completed projects prior to starting ours, and in each case he was able to transform and optimize the aesthetics for every setting. Ours was a backyard project overlooking a golf course. Randy’s design provided the perfect balance of beautifying our “foreground” while at the same time framing and and highlighting the desirable background of the course. We had a great experience with Randy and Blue Bonnet. We re-did all the landscaping in front of our house. He designed the planting beds and carefully selected great looking colorful plantings that compliment our house. We now have great curb appeal and it was the best money we ever spent. Extremely happy with his design work and patience with us as we decided the types of plantings we liked best. Completed the project in a couple days and his crew was very respectful and meticulously cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend them!

We highly recommend Bluebonnet Landscape Creations! Randy was very attentive and took notes when we met to discuss the design. He has extensive knowledge to offer in regards to plants and trees that are successful in this area and function they can provide. When it came time for work to begin his crew of 7 arrived early in the day and completely blew us away with how hard they worked! The builder of our home had left all kinds of debris including bricks, cement and garbage underneath the landscape. All of this was dug up, new fertilized soil was brought in to replace it and our design begin to take place. The crew were all professional and cleaned the job site at the end of the day. Day 2 when the job was finished we could not have been happier! Randy nailed it with types of plantings, color, boulders and stonework. Randy was easy to work with and if we need any type of landscape design in the future he will be our guy!
