I discovered Ruby on the Houzz site and recognized her eye for color and masterful plant arrangements. Upon calling her, Ruby promptly came to our home to survey the area we had in mind to transform, had some wonderful ideas for the shady area, and created a beautiful and pragmatic design for it. We went to select some of the larger plantings together. Ruby is knowledgeable, customer-focused, a great listener, and highly dedicated to providing a superior service that will stand the test of time. Two weeks later, the perennial garden was completed and it has exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled. Ruby was great to work with, attuned to our preferences, and her eye for detail created a garden we will enjoy for years to come. A 24 x 24 foot area in the back corner of our back yard (where an old tree had to be cut down) has become a beautiful, lush garden and focal point. I look forward each night to see it again in the morning.

Ruby Barnes brings a truly artistic and unique eye to landscape design. We have been working together for years, and my garden is an ever evolving delight! We review and modify it over the years so it is always looking great as things grow and mature, and Ruby anticipates well the growth and changes it will undergo with the seasons.

When we moved to our house, there was so much lawn! Ruby suggested we create a path to break it up. She designed a wonderful path and a couple of weeks later, it was complete. It's now the focal point of our front yard, and we get lots of compliments. Ruby also helped us organize and plant some of our flower beds. She is a calm presence to work with.

Ruby always responded quicky to texts or calls, she listened to what we wanted and designed our front garden beautifully based on that, and did a great job getting all the plants in that would work best for the low maintenance garden we requested. She knows so much! She also respected our budget limit. Ruby is a fabulous landscaper, gardener.

After some home interior projects we were finally ready to create a back yard for our kids and new puppy to enjoy. Artistry Landscape came up with a scale drawing and a back yard makeover to suit our family's needs including a vegetable bed, a shaded sitting area and a new patio of brick pavers. Ruby's dedication to the details of our needs was commendable.

We have a large corner property that needed much improvement and a knowledgeable maintenance plan. Ruby came up with designs and hardscape plans that fit with our budget, our dog's needs and our vision of a haven for wildlife. All that as well as beautiful garden art! She worked very closely with me trying to understand my quirky nature and taste, and especially my need to not infringe on the life of yard critters.She planted trees, shade loving flowers and grasses and shrubs with berries for birds. I feel so fortunate to have found Ruby.
