Essajees Atelier

Essajees Atelier was founded by Sarah Sham in 2014. She completed her undergraduate degree in Art History from Duke University and Oxford University in 2009 where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She returned to work for five years at her fourth-generation family business Essajees which supplies fine furniture to large hotels and homes around the world. Clients she worked with include the Taj group of hotels, GVK and the Reliance group. After discovering her love for interior design, she completed her two year degree in interior design from Rachna Sansad where she graduated at the top of her class. Sarah has also spent time learning the small details of interior design in Los Angeles at Erika Brunson Couture Living and previously also worked as an art consultant for private clients. Since starting Essajees Atelier, the company has been involved in both commercial and residential projects as well as interior styling work.
