I have worked with BSD for some years now and they never disappoint. Starting with Barbara Scavullo, the founder, and then with Marysia Rybock, they have been wonderful to work with. They are clear, offer well thought out options, listen carefully, understand the emotional landscape of families, and are thorough and accurate in their follow through. Their customer service is first rate and they are open and honest about budgets, making every effort to find the best path through design challenges. I like their studio approach so that the customer know that many eyes have seen and vetted the options before they are presented to the client.

ScavulloDesign has served as an interior designer on several of our new house and remodeling projects and the results have been smashing! They're team players and keep the clients' interests foremost throughout the design and construction process. When my parents decided to build their Stinson Beach house, I knew that we would need a highly talented, detail oriented team that would be up to the high standards of their architect son and daughter-in-law. To bring up the interiors, Scavullo Design did not disappoint. They were responsive to all of my parents’ requests and created a relaxing beach paradise from the vision of multiple family members. We have also worked with them on several other projects throughout San Francisco. At every turn, the staff of Scavullo Design prove to be reliable, professional, and meticulous. From sourcing the finest materials to combining family heirlooms into a design-centered aesthetic, Marysia and the Scavullo studio are truly gifted. I would recommend them to both family and clients.

We wanted a furniture makeover for several of our rooms in anticipation of our empty nest phase of life. We were just ready for a new look, especially in the living room and dining rooms. Marysia and her team heard us loud and clear and presented appropriate choices both in colors and prices at every step. They also helped us transform our artsy teen-aged daughter's room to a more sophisticated look that incorporated personal touches. They helped us arrange to move our piano, to re-finish our front hall table, re-stain our side boards so they fit with the new dining room table (their mover guys were really amazing) Things just went in and out with professionalism and efficiency. Hoping that Marysia will always be around to help with our decorating needs. She was a pleasure to work with. Always positive and flexible. Thank you!

We have long known the beautiful work of Barbara Scavullo Design, and finally had the opportunity to hire this amazing firm to do a complete kitchen renovation. The entire team of designers was excellent -- listening to what we wanted, providing a variety of alternatives using their great eyes for design and knowledge of what works, implementing and supervising the project from beginning to end. The designers also were attentive to avoiding "project creep" -- they were not interested in just making this project bigger-and-bigger, but doing a great kitchen that fit well with the adjacent rooms. BSD also brought in incredible craftsmen. We heard from the contractor we selected that the plans created by BSD were always far-and-away more thorough and accurate than those they were handed in most of their projects (which, of course, makes it much easier to bring in a project on time and within the budget). Everyone was excellent in dealing with "surprises," of which there were a number in this renovation (in a century-old building that had been modified repeatedly, and in which multiple code violations were discovered). BSD also was great when it came to the inevitable "punch list" -- taking responsibility for getting things done just right. And the space is now quite stunning.

Verner Architects

We are currently working with Scavullo Design on a wonderful new house project. We and our client were looking for a great interior design team who collaborated well with architects, was well organized and professional. A firm who could translate a growing family's desire for beautiful spaces which were also durable and kid friendly. We have found such a firm in Scavullo and anxiously await the finished product.

We've worked as a supplier for Studio M at ScavulloDesign for years now and have always been impressed with Marysia and her studio's professionalism. Whether it's clear communication, accurate purchase orders and thoughtful follow-up, they pay attention to details. We deal with many different design firms each day and Studio M is among the best. Everything they do is in the service of their clients and if they treat us with such respect and professionalism, I imagine their clients are very well taken care of indeed. The care they take with each interaction and transaction is directly reflected in the success of their design studio.

Great experience on a very unique and challenging, healthy home project. Good eye for design and ability to listen to the client needs and translate that into a lovely material selection. Great at researching alternatives and getting into the nitty-gritty of healthy material specification. Very nice and easy going, professional and responsive.

Kommenteret: HardwareYou can try cleaning and rinsing it with liquid soap and water or a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to remove mineral spots (don't soak it in the solution)
