Here at Teale Architecture, we believe creativity is to design a home that fits the owner, site, style, climate, construction, and budget. Mark's philosophy is "liking what you do determines how well you do it". This means building relationships, understanding the intricacies of building and design, and addressing clients most vexing problems and everyday concerns. In short, doing the best for each individual client. We work in collaboration with clients to realize the best design and celebrate diversity in design. We have designed successful projects from traditional homes to modern homes and everything in between. We also provide many levels of support for Interior Design from assistance in documenting design for the contractor to assistance with selection of materials. With a staff of six, Mark works side by side to promote ease in communication at all times. Whether he is directing his draftsman, overseeing a submittal, or ensuring the progress of tasks to move the project along in a seamless manner, Mark is able to change modes from design to technical to management seamlessly. It is the talent that ensures the best design, developed in the most complete manner, in the most efficient time frame.

What to say about Mark Teale? Well, for starters, he's exceptionally versed in the minutia of local ordinances, that most architects are not aware of, which translates into saved revisions, time and money. As well, Mark possesses an excellent sense of design, which he applies judiciously to the applicable project and the owner's financial position. Further, Mark is open to client/owner suggestions and he doesn't let his ego cloud discussions, which is rare for such a talented architect. Finally, if you are looking for utter competence and professionalism, look no further than Mark Teale!

Teale Architecture has been an amazing partner for SONIL Construction in our real estate development business. They have an incredible team that provides our company with amazing service and delivers outstanding designs for our projects. Even though we are a smaller scale client, Mark and his staff always take the time to make us feel valued and completely support us in our projects. Mark personally takes my calls and always helps me work through the smallest of details, allowing us to come up with the best layouts that we possibly can produce. Mark knows the City of Newport Beach building codes backwards and forwards, ensuring all the painstaking details are correct. His attention has allowed us to get our plans approved quickly and efficiently. We will continue to work with Teale Architecture as long as they will have us.

Mark and his team are fantastic! We cannot say enough good things about them. Mark has great insight on designing a house that fits our needs both from a visual and practical perspective. He has been a great problem solver for all things related to our house, regardless of whether they relate to design or architecture. He was also very instrumental in assisting us in picking a general contractor and obtaining our HOA approvals. They all answer their phones, work quickly to resolve issues and deliver a remarkable finished product. I have had the opportunity to use Teale Architecture in Costa Mesa, Ca for major remodeling projects on two of my homes in Newport Beach/Corona Del Mar areas, in the last 5 years. They provided a variety of services including architectural design, engineering support, interface with the City & HOA, interior design, General Building Contractor Selection etc. I have nothing but total admiration for Mark Teale and his entire staff for their attention to details and creativity. We had a great experience working with Mark Teale and his entire team on building our dream home in Corona del Mar. When the time came for the following project (our current one), we chose him again without a second thought! Mark provides a strong balance of creativity and practicality. He listens well to his clients and does his best to communicate and come to resolutions. Mark designed a new house for me and he recently completed planning and drawings for a whole house remodel including substantial modifications to the interior. I have found Mark Teale to be very creative, extremely detail oriented, and budget conscious. We are rebuilding our home in Corona Del Mar from scratch. We were kind of nervous and worry because it is a big and complicated project as it is on a steep hill. We searched for the best architect to start. Mark Teale was recommended by two of the people I asked. Mark made the process much smoother and easier due to his knowledge , experience, and patience, and he dealt with the project as if he is building his own. Mark even helped us in the selection of the other professional in the field with honest recommendations which resulted in big saving and more predictability. We consider ourselves very lucky that we found him. Without Mark our experience would be stressful, lengthy, and more expensive.

Mark Teale is one of the easiest architects to work with in the area! You will not find a better architect or architecture firm that will listen to your ideas and thoughts and illustrate it the way you didn't know you wanted it. They listen, suggest and create your masterpiece just for you. I am asked constantly about who I would recommend to draw up plans and the answer is ALWAYS Mark Teale! You won't go wrong here.
