We feel like fans and "family" with the Semper Fi group. Our remodeling project spanned 5 months, so frequent messaging, meetings, and day to day detailing helped form a most pleasant association all the way through. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. We have complete confidence in Jay and Chris and are thrilled to live in an amazing home they transformed for us.

The staff at Semper Fi Custom Remodeling walked us through every phase of our project, from demolition, through planning, materials choices, vendors, time frames to completion. No detain was unimportant to them. We began in April, 2018 and the first part of the project was completed by September of that same year with delays mostly because of weather. Everyone pulled together in a complimentary fashion, finding excellent solutions to the on-going stream of situations that arise when renovating a 90 year old house. Budget was managed with skill and any cost-overruns were due mostly to choices we made in upgrading materials or expanding the scope of some part of the project. We were thrilled with the way the crews worked together and especially with the end result! Could not believe how smoothly the project went or how happy we were with the kitchen and bath renovation! We encourage anyone to not make a choice until they have at least talked to Chris and Jay.

We used Semper Fi’s services to replace an old picture window in our living room. Jay was easy to communicate with and his crew always showed up when scheduled. They worked quickly and I really appreciated how they protected our furniture and cleaned up after the job was over. I will be using their services again in the future.

Jay, Chris and the Semper Fi team have worked on our 100 year old house in Montreat for various projects over the past few years. Jay, Chris and their team at Semper Fi did an extensive remodel/renovation for us prior to a move, while my wife and I were located 800 miles away from Black Mountain. Semper Fi was professional, helpful and flexible in accomodating our special situation and working in partnership with our design firm. Their communication is second-to-none, and they treat it as a point of honor to be accurate and reliable in their estimates of cost and time-to-completion of a project. We always felt like we had a good grasp on how our project was progressing, and their ability to keep a complex job on schedule and on budget was amazing. Followup at the end of the job was also really impressive--they were extremely responsive and helpful in listening to our feedback and quickly correcting anything that wasn't exactly perfect. Jay and Chris and their team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They have our highest recommendation!
