Sharon Bonnemazou began her design career as a textile artist in 1994 while studying Fine Arts and Fashion Design at FIT, which led to a decade of success as a women’s wear designer at the helm of brands including Ralph Lauren and Catherine Malandrino to name a few. Her designs have been carried by exclusive boutiques worldwide and featured in publications such as US Vogue, British Elle, and Interior Design Magazine. Not only was she featured in these magazines; she was awarded Best of Year Award from Interior Design Magazine. Sharon’s modern, yet elegant sense of style has been published in the NY Times Style section as well as several style blogs. Her style is often photographed during NY Fashion Week. Her innovative Design has won her awards in the HC&G. Her transition from fashion into interior design was a natural progression, but it was not a sudden one. Her interest in architectural and interior design was instilled at an early age when she observed her real estate developer father as he worked on blueprints and material selections. It made her understand the power of great design and how one can create it, live in it and experience it. She continues to use her creative artist’s eye to curate unique spaces, and the unexpected use of organic and sculptural elements that encapsulates the effortless “tomboy” elegance that is her signature.
