We have found the best projects always have the essential ingredient of solid teamwork. As your Builder, we are one component of the team. If you are in the very beginning stages of conceptualizing an idea for your construction project, or if you have long felt the need of a particular improvement, then we can help. We will direct and guide you through the pre-construction planning of your project by adding essential team-members of Architects & Designers as the project requires. If you already have Construction Documents, we will be more than happy to submit a Bid for your consideration. We assure you that you will be pleased with the level of detail and effort we put into all of our Construction Proposals & Documentation. Our team members have the technical and managerial skills needed to create excellent work. We are a local Baltimore based company with a passion for improving our city, your home, and your quality of life.

Danny and Mike put their hearts into working on our project. Several years later we are still enjoying our kitchen like new. I highly recommend this company for your home construction projects. We engaged Smithouse to renovate a significant portion of our 1st floor as well as redo 2 bathrooms and some systems work. To say that Smithouse exceeded our expectations would be an enormous understatement. Both in terms of customer service and, most importantly, their work product the company created a beautiful space for our family. We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Smithouse. They did a large kitchen and butler's pantry renovation for us. The design work was done completely in house. Before we hired them, we had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to do, but Dave Smith proposed a completely different design that turned out be incomparably better than our initial idea. Their attention to detail, creativity, craftsmanship, professionalism, and responsiveness were beyond what we could have hoped for. They stand by their work. The few small things that arose after the project ended were addressed quickly and competently. It was also a ton of fun to work with them on a project that meant so much to us.

After suffering a house fire, we were thrown into an unexpected house renovation and insurance negotiations, as well as relocating our family. SH handled the details efficiently, professionally, and went above and beyond what we could imagine any other company doing. They advocated and negotiated on our behalf with insurance. They developed budgets and timelines and had weekly meetings to make sure the project was on track. They guided us and had clear and helpful communication throughout the one year process. They worked seamlessly with our architects. They were always available to troubleshoot and plan with us. The completed project is absolutely perfect. They made returning to our house a joy. I couldn’t have imagined that the finished product would be as beautiful and well constructed as it is, but it has surpassed our expectations. We did a full kitchen with Smithouse. From the beginning design phase through completion, everything went smoothly and our finished project was delivered on time. Andy was very creative and completely understood my vision for my kitchen. Each suggestion they made turned out to be spot on. I would (and have) recommend Smithouse.
