Stillwater Architecture, LLC is a high-end boutique residential architecture firm specializing in single family homes, and secondary family retreats, with completed projects spread across the United States. We don't adhere to any one particular architectural style, and instead provide designs that meet the needs of modern families, creating details and homes that reflect the personalities of the homeowners, and keeping our egos out of the design process. Personal attention is provided by one of the two principals on every design idea, sketch, phone call, and meeting. We use modern tools to create the drawings, but old fashioned respect, experience, and attention to each client.

We just completed our dream home on a beautiful lake in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Bob Gilbert and Michael Donohue designed a truly spectacular home. They took pride in every detail of the home. They flew here on many occasions checking the look and quality of the home. The design is perfect, with special details that we would have never thought of but made this house very unique. People are frequently stopping by on the road and lake admiring the house. We are very proud of it and are so thankful that we chose Stillwater to design our home.

Robert Primeau

Stillwater Architecture provided completed documents for the renovation and expansion of a mountain view home at the foot of the Bridger Mountains in Bozeman, Montana. Robert Gilbert AIA personally evaluated the site and designed the improvements to maximize the owner's enjoyment of the spectacular show of nature surrounding this property.

Bob Gilbert of Stillwater Architecture designed a very innovative and unique $400,000 remodel of our house in Bozeman, MT. His experience with design AND construction allowed for a practical transition of design drawings to our contractor and Bob's continued oversight of the project during construction was invaluable. I am familiar with Bob's residential and commercial talents going back to his position as a lead architect with Locati and have always been impressed. We would certainly use him again on any size project.

We hired Bob Gilbert of Stillwater Architecture to handle a full remodel of our home in Big Sky. It was a large project lasting over 18 months. The results were spectacular and Bob was a complete professional. Easy to deal with, he communicated very effectively and the outcome was spot on target and on budget. Bob is an extremely detail oriented person which serves a key purpose in any high end construction project. I would retain him again without hesitation and recommend him highly to others

Kommenteret: Nice Stone veneer. What is it called? Where is it from? Thanks!it is sometimes called chief joseph or chief cliff. There is a stone supplier in Kalispell Montana that can find it.
