The team at Stillwater, Jason, Tim and Nikki, did an absolutely wonderful job, taking our general design ideas and working them into a very livable home, with the design features we were hoping for, and a great flow in the interior spaces. We are still in the middle of the build, but the price tag looks to be coming in around budget, which is of course crucial. This would have been impossible without (1) hiring a competent professional architect, (2) choosing a firm that works at all ends of the price spectrum, and (3) having an architect that listened to our concerns and ideas. We recommend Stillwater Group very highly.

We often refer our clientele to Jason Letham when they are looking for a great architect. He never disappoints. Jason recently did house plans for a client of ours that was planning on building on his lot in Snow Crest Ranch, Driggs, ID. It turned out he is buying an existing home in Snow Crest but will now sell the beautiful house plans Jason created with his lot.

Jason and his other team members took our simple ideas and created a house that we absolutely love. Their creativity was amazing and they worked around our budget and met our very tight deadlines. Having worked extensively with large architectural firms over the course of my career, I knew what to look for when choosing an architect to design my house - a small, local firm that had designed buildings consistent with the style of architecture I envisioned for our home. Stillwater Design Group met those requirements. Jason was creative when structuring the fee, pricing for extra work was very reasonable, and the CAD staff was fast and efficient, which helped control Owner-incurred costs. The entire design team, including the outside consultants used, were pleasant, professional, and fun to work with. Jason Letham designed a vacation home for us and oversaw the construction. Construction began in the summer of 2010 and was completed in December of 2011, ahead of schedule. We could not be happier with the end result. Jason did a great job of translating our somewhat vague ideas into a beautiful, workable design within our budget. He and Amber Rounds paid careful attention to detail throughout the construction process, and we felt lucky to have them on site as we followed progress from several states away. Amber went over and above to answer our questions and keep communications flowing. If I had another house to build, I would certainly hire them again!

I worked with architects Jason and Tim out of Driggs Idaho in the fall of 2014. (Stillwater Design Group) I needed a new roof design and solution to heavy snow slide off. In previous years the snow slide off was deep and heavy resulting in damaged/broken railing on deck and the deck itself. Jason and Tim were prompt with their consultation visit and design options. I was always contacted if they had to trouble shoot or if dollar estimates were going to change. I was extremely pleased with the redesign. And...during this past winter, the snow slid away from the deck and house...Sweet! My community of Alta Wy is very small ... So I always felt like I was getting very special treatment. I don't know of anywhere else where your construction crew was a neighbor, the architects, a Wyoming senator and the county coronor.

Jason and his team do a great job. They are creative yet practical, and highly responsive. I have worked with them on a difficult remodeling project for a large home in a remote location. Jason has not only done a great job on the designs, he has introduced us to contractors and other service providers who have been able to do what was needed in a timely fashion. High marks on all fronts.

My experience with Stillwater Design Group has been nothing but positive. From beginning to conclusion of our home, they have always responded above and beyond. If we every have the need to build again, I would not hesitate to contract this firm again. I actually miss working with them.
