Stuart at Born of Wood has provided us with a superb piece of bespoke furniture. The unit looks fantastic, works perfectly and quality of workmanship is excellent. From my initial design he provided advice from his experience and knowledge that was key to the finished AV unit being as good as it is. We are very grateful for his enthusiasm through the whole project to the finished article.

Took a bit of a gamble by ordering a bespoke oak AV cabinet from them online, using example photos Stuart was able to provide. Process of dealing with him online / by email was very easy. Completed cabinet is excellent, very nicely put together and a lovely pale lacquer finish. Finished product came in under budget and exceeds expectations. Promptly delivered ahead of the usual lead time. Highly recommended.

I purchased three weathered oak bar stools for our kitchen. They arrived quickly and the quality is outstanding, they are such good value for money! We shall be purchasing more items once our house renovation is complete as we are over the moon!

The quality is outstanding, it was completed ahead of schedule and precisely at the price quoted. We designed the unit ourselves. However, Stuart acted as a consultant and helped us to avoid making errors that we could not see and kept checking fine detail with us several times through the construction process to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. And we did.

Heckmann Design worked with Born of Wood on a project in London, for which they have produced and delivered very good quality furniture pieces to our design. Stuart was so helpful in assisting us to achieve the detail we were after, and helping to ensure that the desired design was realised within the budget, suggesting alternative ways in achieving the look. Between us, we were able to communicate our ideas via drawings and sketches over emails and telephone only, without a direct contact and the results were fantastic, leaving our Client and us very happy. We would certainly work with Stuart and Born of Wood again, and would not hesitate recommending their services to any other professional or end user.

Stuart and his team made us a side board for our kitchen/diner, it wasn't small! It's the best bit of furniture in our house. Born of Wood were helpful and professional through the whole process from design to completion to delivery. Questions, queries etc answered straight away and design options given. I went to see Stuart and his team about two and half years ago to have an AV unit made, as I could not find anything "off the shelf" which fitted our needs, both practically and aesthetically. Born of Wood have carried out several projects throughout our house and for a commercial office fit out. Projects included bathroom cabinetry, a fitted media room and entrance built in cupboards for the home and a showroom and built in cupboards for the office.
