Sunset Gems (Karrin) did an amazing job on our kitchen cabinets! This team is professional, courteous and most importantly talented. Our kitchen looks like we purchased new cabinetry opposed to painted. They showed up on time, worked a full day and cleaned up. She exceeded my expectations in every way!

Karin has a great personality but her business practices are poorly lacking. Doesn't return phone, text, messages. Makes promises that she doesn't keep. I have tried to get paint from her to finish the job she hasn't completed. Dining room chairs need finishing and she has completely ignored all requests from me so that I can do it for her..................all I get are crickets! I definitely would not recommend.

My apologies for the way you feel, however, your table was finished and the bamboo chairs that were previously painted by someone else were refinished and delivered. As we both agreed, these exterior chairs cannot withstand much more painting. The finish will not adhere very well due to previous attempts to paint with many different products and will not withstand high usage. As promised, I delivered the paint for you to touch up as needed. However, after you made repeated cancellations for either my associate or I to stop by, we are not available at a moment's notice at this time to bring specialty products nor will I leave them on the doorstep in freezing temperatures. I am sorry you are unhappy and hopefully you can find a contractor in the future who will be able to work with your schedule.

Karin did a wonderful job for me! She was able to fit me into her busy schedule sooner than she originally thought by arraigning to do it during a weekend that we were out of town. They moved my furnishings and pictures and replaced everything to it's original position. Other than the beautiful new paint job you could scarcely tell she had been here.

These ladies are absolutely lovely! Not only do they do incredible work but they are such wonderful people! They were always on time and did exactly what they said they would do. I enjoyed their company while they were working in my home and found them to be very helpful with advice on other projects I was working on. I hired Sunset Gens to update my kitchen cabinets. These ladies are "Gems". They came in smiling, took off the cabinets, cleaned up behind as they worked. They then took the cabinets to the shop, refinished my cabinets a beautiful rustic, rich color. Cabinets were finished in 4-5 days. They listened to what I was looking for in style and colors. Price was excellent, professionalism outstanding.

Karin is just amazing! My client wanted to enclose an open staircase to keep her kids from jumping over down to the lower for couch. Her vaulted living room walls had a marble paint finish to the walls. I called Karin in and she perfectly matched the existing walls! I never thought it was possible, but she nailed it! I highly recommend Sunset Gems Studio and will work with them in the future!

Karin and Jennifer are amazing!! They refinished my kitchen cabinets and I am truly delighted with the outcome. Not only are they personable and vivacious, they are reliable, knowledgeable, extremely creative and perhaps most important of all, affordable. I didn't mind having my kitchen torn apart because they were such fun to have in the house. They also did a lustre stone finish around my fireplace and are coming back to spruce up the tile surround. I was so impressed that I chose the granite for my countertops based on their recommendations. Great ladies . . . can't say enough good things about them and their work! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Karin and Jennifer. I am a happy camper! I will post more pics when the new appliances and granite are in.

Karin and Jennifer are true professionals. They faux painted two mantles for us and we love the finished product. I plan to use them in the future for some faux painting on ceilings in a dining room and bathrooms. Beyond being professional painters they are fun and allowed me to watch and ask questions. They are knowledgeable about many aspects of home remodeling and have a list of contractors that they are willing to share. I needed a plumber in an emergency and they were of great help there also. I now call them friends and I am sure they treat everyone as such.

Karin is superbly talented and such a nice and responsive professional! She listens to what her clients want and creates a work of beauty. She was recommended by my interior designer and I could not have been more pleased. Karin presented design samples of faux/glass bead paintings and we worked together to make a selection for my master bath plus I requested that Karin work on other faux painting projects in my house. We hired Karin & Jennifer this year to update a few areas of our home. They did our dining room, foyer and hallways, including staining our light oak handrails and woodwork. They also did all sorts of other finishing touches such as painting picture frames, pottery & light fixtures to better match our accessories and walls. They are both very professional and pleasant to work with. They met with us a few times in advance to provide samples until we settled on a design that worked well with our décor. We highly recommend them for a variety of work you may need in your home as they are very talented at their craft!

Karin was referred to me through a very good friend. After meeting with her and Jennifer and reviewing their portfolio, I was excited for them to start the project. Karin gave me a bid and we discussed additional items to add to the project. Karin and Jennifer were always on time and answered questions along the way. They completed in the time they allotted and my house is beautiful. They completed a glass bead project (accent wall), stenciled wall powder room, faux finished walls around my fireplace. During the project, Karin would note my likes and dislikes and would help steer me to what looked amazing in my home. I cannot say enough about her and Jennifer's work. I will never use anyone else.

I have long admired her work and was delighted to have her working in my home. She put the finishing touches on an antique fireplace mantel that I purchased. She created a Elm Burl design that looks magnificent . Her work is absolutely unbelievable . So talented and a joy to watch her create her magic .
