Susan’s signature style combines elegance with a modern sensibility while staying true to classic design principles. Susan draws global inspiration from her cosmopolitan background as a fashion model and extensive world travel. Susan’s interiors have a sophisticated and chic aesthetic with a timeless quality. She likes to mix elements to create dramatic tension and add layers with art, colour and a variety of textures. Susan has a BA from the University of Toronto and studied Interior Design at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Susan studied visual art at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Avenue Road Art, and the Ottawa School of Art.

I found Susan through loving her project photos on Houzz. I was able to start working with her to transform my second floor promptly. She walked in and created a vision for my home that I was lacking and I loved her choices and advice. Susan not only suggested and sourced furniture pieces but helped me to rethink drapery and colour schemes as well as got me started reworking the baseboards, ceilings, and doors. Every day I love and appreciate my home more and more, and I have asked her to help me on my main floor as well. Susan is always respectful and responds quickly by email or phone. From my experience, she is a highly talented designer and I am very glad that I choose to work with her.

Susan did a wonderful job renovating our kitchen, bathroom and entrance. She assisted with everything.... design, colours, choosing fixtures and lighting, tiles, countertops and flooring and she worked smoothly with our contractor. Several times she met with me at retail stores to help with difficult decisions. She was always patient and helpful. The finished product was outstanding, everything I had hoped for but could not envision. I would highly recommend her.

Susan did a very professional job for my office recently. She completed the job under budget and did a fair amount of research, sourcing some furniture that was from the same line as existed in my office but that had been acquired some 10 years prior. This allowed the look to be consistent and freshly updated. I really appreciate the effort and care she took in completing the task given to her. I would unreservedly recommend her for any size job in interior design.

We hired Susan to help us with our Kitchen reno at our house in Toronto. We were moving from a Downsview kitchen that was high quality to something more contemporary. She helped us with design, flooring, counters, sinks, appliances and decor. Most importantly, she was able to take our somewhat scambled direction, along with a couple of pictures, and assemble together a very professional, clean look...exactly what we were looking for. What a delight...saved us time and energy and delivered a better end product that we could have possible hoped for.

After working with Susan on our backyard I asked her to help us do the screened-in porch at our cottage. Susan was full of wonderful suggestions and ideas and executed the project on time and within budget. This was our second time working with Susan and we look forward to working with her again.

My husband and I hired Susan to help us update our main floor space in our downtown Ottawa home. Susan is fantastic. She has an exceptional eye for detail and scale. Susan does not lean towards any particular style, be it modern, traditional or eclectic, her style is more about unique touches that enhance beautiful spaces. I also had the pleasure of viewing Susan's own home interior and knew once I stepped into her home that I had chosen the right person to help us with our space. Susan understands our vision and can recommend styles and products that fit within this vision. She is very professional and courteous and we would not hesitate to recommend her.

Kommenteret: Wondering where the chandelier is from?The chandelier is designed by Gino Sarfatti for Flos. It is available either Chrome-plated or gilded. Model #2097-30/50.

Kommenteret: Where are the table and chairs from?The table is Bermex and it was purchased at MYHome. The chairs are also by Bermex and are from Suede Interiors. All Canadian made.

Kommenteret: BacksplashHi Steven, This backsplash is a honed slab of Calacatta Marble. In the photo, the right side is getting a lot of light from the under-mount pot lights which is giving the effect that the veining ends....
