theCAVE architecture + design

I hired theCAVE to design a leisure suite to contain an indoor pool, bar and gym that would utilise and extend the existing Coach House on our property. Our existing property is visually beautiful with a magnificent driveway leading up to the house. It was vital that the design of the new building add to that, raising the visual aspect of the property to new heights whilst complementing the existing buildings. The design that theCAVE conceived absolutely achieved that goal and is a perfect illustration of their understanding of contemporary design and their ability to create something truly spectacular that also compliments the existing property and landscape. I'm enormously impressed with the team at theCAVE and I would have no hesitations in recommending them.

We deal with theCave on a regular basis and they are at the top of their field. Competition is tough in the south manchester area and theCave rise above.

James at the Cave has been incredibly helpful throughout our project. He is contactable, a problem solver and where required, inspirational. He is also capable of working closely with contractors and providing practical solutions to problems when they arise. The Cave were employed to update a planning consent and provide architecture and design services through the build of a £2M domestic dwelling. I had no experience of self build and they have been patient and encouraging throughout the build. They offer endless advice and guidance, inspiration and enthusiasm and have made the challenge so enjoyable. We are 4 months from completion and I can honestly say I could not have got an amazing house without the help of the team at The Cave.

We are building a contemporary property on a challenging site with significant adjacency issues and land gradients. We must be crazy.........but the outline design by theCAVE was spectacular and motivated us to commit our life savings to the dream. We are now close to completion and theCAVE have been right alongside us throughout, assuring the integrity of the design is not compromised despite difficult build issues. The detailing of the finishes will be vital, and their interventions with our builder to aid the specifications has been invaluable. TheCAVE showed us the dream, and they have been as committed as us to create our new home.

The Cave, and specifically James Hindley, have worked closely with us over the last 18 months to conceive, design, plan, get permission for and now build our dream home in Mottram St Andrew. We originally elected to work with James having been impressed by his previous work (Sleepy Hollow in Prestbury) and we are enormously excited by his new design for our contemporary residence. James and indeed Craig and Stacey are so easy to work with and so inspired and inspirational regarding new ideas and creative ways of doing things that we have enjoyed the process all the way through, including a tricky but successful planning process. The guys at the Cave are incredibly dedicated and creative I had no clue as to how to get my vision off the paper I wrote 20 years ago but James and Greg managed to get a vision out of me and my wife and realise it in incredible detail I cannot recommend them highly enough
