Based in the north-east of England, The Original Sofa Co. Ltd is a a well established business specialising in Chesterfield sofas and chairs. From your iconic wing back Queen Anne chairs, to a 12ft deep buttoned Chesterfield, there really is no shortage of options. Hence the title, ‘The Original Sofa Co.’, all of our Signature sofas are crafted in the same methods applied throughout the centuries – coil sprung seats, arms and back, fully hand tacked and hand dyed. We boast four different crafting options to suit a variety of tastes and budgets, which ultimately means that there’s a sofa for everybody here at The Original Sofa Co. We are proud to say that we are one of the only remaining company’s in the UK that still crafts sofas this way. All of our pieces, whether they be finely crafted Signature pieces, early or late antiques of the 19thC and 20thC, travel worldwide every week.
