At Tippetts/Weaver our interest is in providing excellent and unique design for a specific context and client. Founded in 1987, by principals Wendy Tippetts and Gary Weaver, Tippetts/Weaver maintains a small personal office of nine full time employees in historic downtown Lancaster. The firm currently has five registered architects, three architectural interns, and one administrative staff member.

When my husband and I retired and moved to Lancaster, PA from Seattle, we hoped to find a building lot fairly close to my daughter and her family. Our builder/contractor suggested working with architect Wendy Tippetts and when a lot came on the market, she was there from the get-go with insightful interpretations of our suggestions. With each step of the planning process, the Tippetts/Weaver team of Wendy, Rachel Haynes and Sheldon Smoker prepared prints, drawings and design advice that incorporated our Modern Prairie aesthetic . Their professionalism and eye to detail was consistently apparent. We are now just a few months from moving in and the design has come together beautifully. We highly recommend T/W to anyone seeking expert architectural and design assistance

My husband and I hired tippetts/weaver to design and renovate our office space In Lancaster, PA. We were - and still are - incredibly happy with the result. Gary Weaver and Rachel Haynes listened to our needs and gave us a thoughtful. creative design for our space. Throughout the project they were easy to work with and made sure that their interior choices and design worked for us and our employees. We highly recommend them!

We hired Wendy Tippetts and her team to design a retirement home for us on a challenging site near a river. Wendy made the entire process easy from the very beginning! She carefully listened to our ideas and studied the site extensively during different seasons to observe the changing light, mood, and views. Working closely together, we came up with an amazing plan that takes advantage of all the site has to offer. When excavation costs proved too high for some of our ideas, she quickly came up with a modified plan that we like even better! She helped us choose a builder and get a zoning variance. Her experience showed as she helped us navigate the many aspects of building a dream home, including site constraints, building codes, and coordinating work with engineers and government officials. Wendy and her team, including Rachel Haynes, have paid attention to every detail while remaining creative and flexible. They work hard to contain costs while providing choices. Their work is timely and they arranged meetings to work with our schedules. I can't speak highly enough of Wendy and her team! They have taken all of the anxiety out of this project and turned it into a dream fullfilled.

The Lancaster Science Factory has the pleasure of receiving ongoing consultation from Tippetts/Weaver Associate Rachel Haynes. She has advised us on everything from floor layout, carpet installation, to sound baffling. She has gone above and beyond in attending to all details and making on-point design suggestions we may never have considered. Their team took the time to listen to all my ideas while giving their suggestions in order to come up with the best solution for the space I had in mind. Kommenteret: What is the paint shade on the walls? Manufacturer?We used Sherwin Williams, SW 7046 “Anonymous” to create a dramatic offset to the white wainscot.

Kommenteret: Exterior paintWe had selected a white color, but this project was done down in the Bahamas, so they had to use local paint suppliers and color match a basic white color.
