When we purchased our 1928 bungalow in the Old Northeast section of St Petersburg we knew we wanted to remodel a portion of the home, specifically the kitchen, master bath and family room. EDAD worked with us to understand our tastes and lifestyle needs to provide a design compatible to our budget and expectations. The enlarged and remodeled kitchen allows us to pursue our culinary hobby. The open concept to the family room creates a large space where we can both relax and entertain. We could not be happier with the service we received and Elizabeth's design recommendations.

There is not much I can add to all the wonderful reviews already stating that David and Elizabeth are wonderful communicators and listeners. They designed a Craftsman bungalow with all our concerns taken into consideration which has produced our dream house . What I can add is that we had very difficult building issues and they were beyond wonderful at helping us solve those issues. This was the second project we have done with EDAD, the first being a carriage house to match our old 1920 Craftsman house. We are now onto renovating our 1920 Craftsman house and I can't even think of doing it without their design and guidance. I guess the best compliment I can give, is I envisioned this house but thru their design this house came to life so much better than I could have ever imagined. It has become not only our happy place but brings a sense of tranquility to our hearts when we walk through the door.

Elizabeth and David were our first choice when we needed a home remodel design, and we could not be more pleased with their work and professionalism. Our home was built in 1948, with some early 1960s additions. We love the feel and features of the original but needed to add a bit more space. No problem with EDAD! Elizabeth designed a seamless exterior look between the original house and the addition, and reconfigured the interior to improve room flow and adapt to our needs while retaining the house’s vintage charm and features. David and Elizabeth are also great communicators – in person, in writing, and electronically. This significantly improved the working experience and reduced stress! We could not recommend them more highly. (Plus, they are a great couple.)

I hired Elizabeth to redesign a 600 sq ft area of my house. The design concept she came up with was perfect for the house. She produced the construction documents and everything the builder needed for permits, plus was available for questions and on site checks. I would use EDAD again without hesitation.

Elizabeth and David are an incredibly talented and professional duo. When we hired them to renovate our 100 year old home, they did an outstanding job through all of the structural issues we faced. We hired them again to add a poolhouse to our home and the result was fantastic. They are a joy to work with and would hire them again for any future projects!

David and Elizabeth were WONDERFUL in getting my St Pete kitchen remodeled. The design is lovely, and especially their kindness during an awfully high-maintenance contractor process ( I had chosen the contractors, not E+D). David provided and consulted on the drawings with me ensuring our 1920s home retained that traditional (yet updated) feel. He sent me many pictures of progress, we had long calls, he met with the contractors and was just so kind. I highly recommend them!

We purchased a 1915 home in the Old Northeast neighborhood. After many years as an apartment building, the home had been awkardly and poorly turned back in to a single family home. The original foundation of the home was crumbling. Before we started on the renovation we sought the expertise of many professionals in the area. E & D Architecture and Design is an unbelievably talented and professional architecture and design team. We did a compete and very tricky remodel of an 80 year old historic house. They were able to make the house usable for a modern, active family and still keep its historic charm. No detail was too small for them to oversee and advise. Historic lighting… not a problem…. plumbing fixtures… they will help you choose the perfect ones. Not to mention all the difficult architectural and engineering challenges that they handled quickly and throughly. This was not a design and leave project. Every step they were there with calm assurance that our project would surpass the excellence we expected. Plus, they are really wonderful people!
