.Our project was thwart with incredibly complexity due to our extremely difficult : unreasonable neighbours, with 4 years trying to obtain planning and failed. We then decided to change the entire team (Architect, Structural Engineer, Designer etc) and give it one final try before contemplating throwing in the towel. After having interviewed in excess of 15 architects we settled/put our full trust in UV Architect, in a particular individual named William McGuiness. Not only did he manage to obtain planning, he designed / delivered a beautiful/stunning home taking us through the entire journey, something I really enjoyed...yes enjoyed despite the horror stories you hear..From start to finish every detail he was all over, my wife being incredibly demanding, was kept quiet, something I have failed over the years... The project was delivered on time/ and on budget. Our project was extensive (over a year in the making/4 story’s) with no stone left unturned - UV executed to perfection. Today I live a amazing home with compliments given by every single individual who walks through the front gates/enters our home.. UV...thank you so much...you truly have delivered a beautiful home that we are incredibly proud of...

We commissioned Will McGuinness of UV to assist us with a wholesale remodelling of our two-storey, semi-detached house, including a large ground floor and first floor rear extension. He knew exactly how to get the most out of the build for us without creating issues with the local planners and was always on hand to guide us through legal and technical aspects of the project as they arose. Communication was straightforward and the process of getting to the point where works commenced was creative and enjoyable. We have now moved back into the house of our dreams and appreciate just how invaluable the UV's knowledge and advice were. For example, who would have thought we could be so enamoured by an enlarged first floor landing which they somehow magicked out of v limited space?! I would highly recommend them.

Mick designed an amazing extension to our kitchen that transformed the whole of the ground floor of our house. The clever use of natural light helped to create a family room that everyone wanted to spend time in and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending UV.

My wife and I chose Will McGuinness of uv architects on the recommendation of our structural engineer and after interviewing two other highly regarded local architects. We got on well with Will right from the start of the project, a major renovation of a very tired 1960s bungalow which lasted from Nov 2015 to February 2017. Will came up with designs which immediately appealed, solutions to problems and tight project management with our builders, who he knows well and who we also got on with extremely well. We are now settling in to our beautiful new downsize home, and loving it. Everything works as planned, the standard of the work is very high and we are delighted. We were very pleased with the job that UV Architects did for us. Very reasonably priced and an extremely high attention to detail. We are very happy with our house - Will worked with us at every step to turn our dream into reality. It was also invaluable to have UV Architects as the project manager as they managed the contractors for us and avoived any delays or cost overuns. We would definitely use them again without any hésitation.

We engaged UV (Will McGuiness) on the renovation of a Victorian House in Wandsworth. The project involved the demolition of the rear back addition and replacement with a new extension with roof lights and bi-fold doors and a new terrace. The project also involved creating a dormer window in the roof, installing 2 new bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom/utility, installation of underfloor heating to the ground floor and a new boiler and megaflow system. Will was brilliant throughout the project. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We hired UV Architects to design the side return extension on our small mid-terrace Victorian house. Being our first undertaking of a project such as this, we didn't know what to expect, but Will guided us through the process brilliantly. From the great initial design, to taking onboard our ideas, sourcing materials and working with our builder, it all went incrediblly smoothly. Came in pretty much on budget, and looked fantastic. I would recommend without hesitation.
