BBA is a small practice with big experience – offering a full service for projects of all sizes, from site masterplanning right through to interior design. Based in the East of England, BBA is passionate about delivering high-quality projects, built on a strong relationship with clients; ensuring that our work meets their needs, expectations and budget. BBA is a fresh, confident and capable architecture practice; whose personal approach is informed by a depth of experience that ensures we get the most out of our projects. We’re passionate about the importance of building relationships with clients as well as their projects. Our full-service offering is rooted in a collaborative approach and informed by strong ethics. Founded in 2016, BBA is led by Carrie Bayley and Luke Butcher.

We are extremely pleased with BBA work so far on our home extension (the work on site is due to start in a few weeks) They have carefully listened to our requirements and have created and given us many excellent design and practical solutions. Luke and Carrie have managed every step with great attention to detail and creativity, always explaining every aspect of the process and promptly answering any query; they are very professional and proactive, not only on the design side, but also managing the tendering process. We are looking forward to continue working with BBA through the final stage of the project. Highly recommended!

Lu Li

We are a small family living on the outskirts of Cambridge. Carrie and Luke have helped us all the way through our extension project, and now we are near the site operation stage (RIBA stage 5-6). We can honestly say they are the driving force for this project. Their professional skills, experience and passion brought us a design that not only suites our needs, but also stands out from other residential extensions. We presented them with a tricky project: a relatively small budget but with lots of requirements. They came up with creative new ideas, suggested new finishes, products, etc. They have also paid a lot of attention to details, reflected in their technical design and drawings. We love their modern and simplistic approach to architectural design, which also made us to rethink the way we want to live and to put focus on the quality of space other than the size. Our project would have never been so exciting without their input. Thank you!

We recently moved to a new house for its location but we knew we’d need some assistance from an architect to realise the potential of the site. We were attracted to BBA for their architectural style, forward-thinking and professional approach. BBA have worked with us on the feasibility and presented several unique designs for us to consider. We were impressed with the options and feel that Carrie and Luke were able to capture the importance of what our home means to us and able to convey designs that would suit a growing family. We look forward to progress the project through planning and construction with BBA. To anyone starting a new housing project, we would definitely recommend BBA.
