We are so thankful to have found Tim to complete our home renovations. From the very beginning, Tim helped us refine our ideas, provided very helpful suggestions, but most importantly - he always listened to us and carefully considered everything we proposed. Tim is an excellent communicator and kept us well informed of timelines and expectations. The execution of the work was so impressive - Tim and Sam were so efficient and ensured every detail was completed with care. Their experience and skill were evident in all aspects of the project. Our home is now transformed into somewhere we have always dreamed of living and are excited to be in for a long, time! They transformed unusable space in our entryway into a home office that is perfect for my needs, installed a dream kitchen, and created a patio cover that looks seamlessly built into our home. I cannot recommend Tim enough. His professionalism, skill, and kindness made working with him easy and we will certainly call Tim again for the next project!

We hired Tim to update our kitchen to install a dishwasher. He provided great perspective and ideas when it came to how we could preserve our kitchen cabinetry, saving a cabinet drawer and door to reuse. He brought in great partners (an electrician and plumber) to help complete the job. He and his team were all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. The project was completed faster than expected, on budget and with little disruption to our lifestyle. I can't recommend Hoisington Legacy Construction highly enough and I hope to be able to work with them again in the future.

Tim Hoisington remolded my bathroom and I am so pleased with the work that was done. He understood exactly what I was wanting and stayed in contact with me through out the entire construction. He ran across unexpected challenges with this being a 60+ year old home and had practical solutions for each challenge. He fully knows what he is doing! The Professionalism and quality of the work was awesome. I have already recommended him to others and will contact him in the future for additional work in my home.

Tim was so nice to work with and did a wonderful job. He found the leak problem near my window within 15 minutes after he arrived. The price was reasonable for the job. I live in a 1942 farm house and will contact Tim for any future needed repairs and remodeling.

We were looking for a Contractor to update our kitchen and remove a wall between the kitchen and dining room. We put our project out to 3 bids and Hoisington Construction were one of our respondents. Tim Hoisington came and spec'ed our project and while doing so, presented some additional ideas of how to re-use some of the materials we had planned to replace. Tim's estimate came in the most reasonably- so we contracted. During the project time of 5 weeks- we came home from work each day- to a cleaned construction area which seemed to alleviate some of the disruption of an ongoing project. Now the project itself- Tim's workmanship was impeccable- not only did he re-use existing materials when appropriate- he kept the character if our home within the era it was built. His finish work on additional trim and weaving in existing wood floors- were undetectable. His sub contractors were as amazing as he was. Lastly, his communication style was complete and thoughtful throughout the project. We would highly recommend Tim for any construction or carpentry work!

We hired Tim for a renovation project involving nearly every room of our 3-story older home, including full remodel of 2 bathrooms, and other updates to electric, plumbing, and sheetrock finish, plus siding replacement on the whole house. From the start, Tim earned high marks for timely communication, clear estimates, guidance on plans, and flexibility working with us on options, including some homeowner DIY to help us stay on budget. He kept a well-organized work-site and delivered high-quality results. Highly Recommend.

Tim did a tremendous job on our kitchen / house remodel. We decided to renovate our kitchen and at the same time replace the windows in the house and install vinyl siding. Tim came highly recommended in the community and was wonderful in working with us to design the project and make the construction schedule livable. His attention to all of the little details really shows. Our kitchen is everything we wanted, and the house looks great! No more old drafty windows! We have had Tim back several times for smaller projects including updating our bathroom and installing a bulkhead in our basement. He is reliable and stands behind his work.

Tim Hoisington completed several home projects for us from December, 2014, through the fall of 2018. He reinforced the beams beneath our kitchen floor, designed and built a handrail on our stairway to the second floor, graded our back yard away from the house to eliminate water problems in our basement, installed a whole house fan in our attic, and built a new deck and front steps for our house, in addition to other smaller jobs. Tim was meticulous in his work, extremely reliable with his commitments, pleasant to work with, and a clear communicator who returned calls promptly and problem-solved creatively. I highly recommend Tim’s work and his personal qualities. He is honest, hard-working and very skillful with landscaping and construction. We were always pleased with the results of his work and with the experience of working with him.

Tim is the epitome of a professional. He's conscientious, punctual, and very skilled. He also is very helpful in figuring out the best solutions to whatever the problems are. We used him for several home improvements and were delighted with all. My biggest regret is that he has moved away from our area (up north) to relocate in Tennessee. Their gain, our loss. I recommend him without reservation.

Tim was well known in our community for the commitment to excellence that he gave to the jobs he took on. He did several jobs for me, including the removal of an old retaining wall along with the construction of somewhat complex new one. He collaborated comfortably in the listening to what was wanted and in giving advice. Hard to find a professional with the combination of skill and the professional yet friendly and easy to relate to manner that he brought to the job. Highly recommend.

If there were 10 stars, Tim would deserve all of them . . . and more! My husband hired another company to construct 3 steps on one side of our deck. They were fine, but very expensive. When my husband passed, I hired Tim, the father of one of my flute students, to construct steps to match on the other side of the deck. The steps were identical, but half the price! Because of this, I hired Tim to build a railing around the deck, to include steps descending gracefully onto the lawn. He designed them to become narrower as they descended. He also designed and built a bench, incorporated into the railing, as well as a planter, making a stunning outdoor space for my bed and breakfast guests, who could see it from the dining room. They loved it, looking out over the mountains. A couple of years later, I had Tim renovate my master bathroom. I am about to move to another state and the thing I will miss most about my house is my exquisite bathroom!!! His ideas were spot-on and he executed the plans to a T. Most memorable was when he put a valance over the mirror lights, and, because he is taller than I, the lights shone in my eyes. When I asked him to lower the valance (which was not an easy installation by any means!) by about an inch, he was incredibly agreeable, even though it was a tremendous inconvenience for him. Tim is always cheerful, friendly, approachable, accommodating, and ~ most importantly ~ extremely talented and particular in every detail. Among his co-workers (tilers, painters, plumbers, etc.), he is respected, admired, and appreciated beyond words!

I very much appreciated how Tim spent the time to integrate his new construction into the existing footprint of my 100 year old house. He went the extra mile to ensure things looked like "it's always been like that." Such craftsmanship and attention to detail is truly a gift.
