Oli at Finethorp was our guardian angel. We had bought our first flat, which though lovely was in a bit of a mess and needed quite a bit of work. Not only did the team at finethorp help us create a home we felt so happy in and proud of, but Oli coached us all the way through- helping us to make decisions we weren’t sure about without ever patronising or making us feel silly. We now have a lovely home - with amazing plumbing, Electrics, new kitchen and bathroom all done by Finethorp- which is in large part down to them. I could not recommend Oli and Finethorp highly enough - they are amazing.

I have used Finethorp for 3 years now for all my maintenance and renovation projects, this includes major plumbing projects, roof renovations, bathroom renovations, decorating and a significant structural project. In all cases the workmanship is outstanding with excellent attention to details and sensible discussions about any issues or suggestions to how the project should progress. Oli and his team spend time sourcing good quality materials at sensible prices. Also if there are other issues not related to the job they are working on they will advise if the think something needs fixing I think of them as having a holistic approach to their job. Snagging is never an issue and minor defects are always sorted usually without asking!

A real find. Oliver and team have done a wonderful job both replacing the stop cocks in my building and recommending and installing a new boiler for me. I'm very impressed with the boiler. Oliver clearly knows his business, is incredibly thorough, responds quickly and is always charming and considerate. I couldn't recommend them more highly and will be using them for several more major jobs planned in my property.

I commissioned Finethorp Limited (Renovations) to undertake a loft conversion together with total modernisation including kitchen extension for a first floor flat with the objective of turning a one bedroom, one bathroom flat into a three bedroom two bathroom flat. I was very pleased by the tempo and quality of the work throughout the project and was always kept fully in the picture of progress. The work was completed on time and within budget and I will certainly look to instruct Finethorp again for any similar project.

PAUL BIRTWISTLE

Oliver Cox has undertaken several projects for me in the last few years and his work is of a very high standard. Most recently he and his team have completed substantial refurbishment on the upper floor of my house, replacing a bedroom ceiling and extensive work on two bedroom walls that required remedial work. The subsequent replastering and decorating was carried out to a high standard. Before that he rebuilt my bathroom transforming it into a wonderful "wetroom" with underfloor heating, new fittings and enhanced insulation. Oliver Cox's great strength is that he does what he promises on budget and on time. To boot he is extremely personable and pleasant to work with.
