We purchased a counter from Lowes in December 2020. York Fabrica was the subcontractor. The counter arrived with minor scratches. Left a giant gap above dishwasher and told us nothing could be done. That, after selling a bracket we didn't need to overcome that problem. Was told our cabinets were too old and nothing could be done (Our handyman friend came over and fixed it in an hour). Paid for removal of old counter top - still sitting in my driveway a week later. Found the invoice/warranty in the bushes in front of my house, covered in snow.

To say we had a negative experience would be an understatement. We purchased counters from Lowe’s and they were subcontracted to York Fabrica. First we were waiting for a call to have them out for a measure. But they had the wrong number on file. Even though we had provided 2 numbers to Lowe’s. They did not call Lowe’s to let them know instead we had to reach out ourselves to find that out. On the initial measurement appointment, the man they sent was extremely rude to my partner and her mother, and then refused to measure because our farmhouse sink would not work. Also told us that a sink that sits on top of the counters would have to be installed before the counters. We followed up with a call to York Fabrica and consulted with our plumber who both concluded that that was wrong information. So a measure was performed and we were told we had to modify the cabinets to fit the sink. (The modifications ended up taking our contractor about 25 minutes). We then had to wait for paperwork to be sent to lowes which I had to sign and send back with photos of the modified cabinets. Then we had to wait for another measure, we were assured that after the final measure we would be waiting a couple days for install. We waited well over a week for that follow up measure. It took a further 2 weeks for an install to happen From the get go, had we been told that the cabinets had to be modified we would have had a much smoother experience, but instead an employee who was clearly unqualified to give that opinion created a mess that took 2 months to clean up. Being misled for time frame was also a major problem. We removed our old counters and plumbing after the first measure because Hemat had told my mother in law that from that point we were looking at a couple weeks until install. Instead we had to go without our kitchen for a month and a half. If we hadn’t got an incredible price on the counters from Lowe’s we probably would have canceled after the first measure. Purchased June 4, installed as of August 7. They look great besides a really awful looking cut on one of the ends, Which I have attached a photo of, but at this point I’ll live with it if it means not having to deal with YF again.

Quality, perfect execution and above average client service. These are some of the adjectives I can use to describe how satisfied we are with the service we got from York Fabrica. We could not be more pleased with the countertops and backsplash in our new kitchen. Marco, our Project Manager from York Fabrica was patient and professional every step of the way. He worked with us to find a dramatic marble slab that fit perfectly into our kitchen design. York did not hesitate to address the few issues we had and their installation team’s attention to detail was impressive. The end result is that we totally love our new kitchen and would recommend York very highly.

York Fabrica recently installed our kitchen counter tops. They have a huge selection of stone slabs and working with them made the process quite stress free. I have no hesitation recommending them.

I was very pleased with the installation of our counter tops from York Frabrica - the gentlemen that came out were super polite and very professional. We've just done a complete reno and have dealt with a multitude of different tradespeople. These guys, they arrived when they were scheduled, brought drop-mats for the floor and a shop vac to clean up after themselves! They took care to not damage the pendant lights that had already been installed and were a pleasure to talk to. Well done!

York Fabrica fabricated and installed my amazing new kitchen counter, sink and tap. The whole process was very efficient and painless. They measured the counter space electronically so the fit was perfect. I can definitely recommend this company.

We had York Fabrica fabricated and installed kitchen countertops for our new house. We purchased the slab of New Superwhite quartzite from another stone retailer, and the coordination between the two shops was seamless. We received top notch customer service with York from initial consultation to final installation. Marco was patient as he guided us through the placement of the sink and joints, and the direction of the veining. Once the slab was in fabrication, he kept us informed of the production status. We were then contacted by Stella as soon as the fabrication was completed and ready for installation. We love our new countertop, and ogee edge was perfectly done. The installation crew was professional and took their time to perfect the fitting. It has been such a smooth process and the team made it all too easy for us! We highly recommend York Fabrica for big and small projects.

York Fabrica installed a Dekton countertop in my new kitchen. Beyond the beautiful and very practical countertop material, I have to praise the installation and the professional touch of the company. I really recommend this business, and I will use it again in the future.
