“We began working with Nathan on designing our dream retirement home on the Oregon Coast in mid-2014. Of course we had ideas of what type of home we wanted but knew that they were not really a fit for the lot that we owned. Nathan listened to our ideas and gently and skillfully steered us towards a design that tastefully incorporated them (or the concept behind them) while also honoring the lot, the view and the environment. We were living out-of-state at the time but Nathan and his team made the long distance process work efficiently. On-line design reviews greatly helped convey detailed information in both directions and facilitated quick resolution of any issues as they arose. We only used Nathan and his team for the initial and detailed design phases, and drafting of detailed construction/permit plans. However, they worked well with our builder of choice on issues and design modification suggestions to make sure our vision would be successfully executed.
