“We worked with Maughan Design to remodel / update our kitchen from top to bottom last summer. (This included lighting, cabinets, counters, backsplash, painting, and flooring.) Working with Kathie and her team of professionals was a delight. We truly appreciated the way they took the time to listen to us and get to know us beyond just what our budget was for the project. The construction process was smooth and efficient. There were no big surprises, and the budget actually came out to be a little under what we had arranged. Throughout the process, we had regular check-ins from Kathie and her team. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results, even after living with our kitchen for almost a year now. “We had to redo our guest bathroom after the last dyi owners had made some unfortunate mistakes. After completing a floor project with JDI, I asked for help. They definitely came through, not only fixing some of the issues but improving on the backsplash, the tub, the fixtures and the toilet! Add in new flooring, new lights and fresh paint and it’s like walking into a spa space. The craftsmen were also impressive. Very conscientious,always on time and committed to producing quality work. The communication with the project coordinator was also excellent. We always knew what was happening and when. If we had issues with time or availability it was addressed immediately and accommodated. The results reflect the commitment of this company to provide personalized service to their clients.”

“Cooper Design Builder, deserve an excellent review for exceptional after-sales care and services, reliable and honest process, relatively good quality work, and great professionalism from all their staff and subcontractors. If there is ONE thing to complain about... it is their price. But if we pay peanuts, we tend to get monkeys! I do not often write reviews but I am inspired to write this review because: 1) I am so thankful for the beautiful sunroom, kitchen and bathrooms, especially during this Covid19 times. 2) Even after a year of living in my remodeled space, Cooper’s staff will pick up my call, come over, and work with manufacturers to replace a black faucet that had chipped paint. (Their staff are always responsive. If a problem is not urgent, they do take a little more time but they have been good about getting back to me.) I have a 1980’s home. I started my remodel in Sept 2018, Cooper completed their work in 6 months as promised. They delivered beautiful work on time, and within budget. We had no big surprises!! Their process was easy to follow and as stress free as remodeling can be. And most of all, Lane (the owner) is a charming, down-to-earth, and reasonable person who values relationships with his clients. When we had some disagreements in our billing or construction, Lane was willing to sit down and go through all the numbers and facts, and he walked us through the process to help us see what we were missing. Lastly, a shout out to Lane, Wes, Courtney, Dave, Britton, Susan, Rene and few others who have done minor works in my home. I ❤️ my home and am reminded of all you everyday. Thank you all.”
