“Tom Mullally and MAAD Architects were brilliant. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Our project was an interior and exterior restoration of a large grade II listed 200 year old seafront apartment (we were derelict and back to brick with only a shell to work with when MAAD came onboard). We needed new electrics, plumbing, doors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, radiators, plaster - the lot. Tom supported us throughout the project. Drawings were completed promptly, and MAAD happily made any revisions needed. During the tender process for the build firm, MAAD were invaluable at building out the scope of works and negotiating with trades. With the design, we felt Tom was strong at the details and considered our lifestyle and needs, as well as respecting the heritage of the building. We’re so happy with the end result, and there are so many special touches that were influenced by Tom. We’ve come in only a smidge over budget and this was due to us upgrading finishing material choices. After working with a few different firms previously, MAAD are by far the most thoughtful, resourceful, and intuitive architects in Kent. Working with Tom was a positive experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!”

“Trying to find an architect is somewhat of a lottery , but we struck lucky with Ashley . He is professional, approachable and creative . He went above and beyond in the service he provided and helped us with the design , building regulations , planning, insurance and procurement . The service included not only plans but computer generated images of the reworked rooms which made it so much easier to visualise. He provided a comprehensive spec for the building contract , advised on the contract prices received and gave input throughout the build . He was also very reasonable we found ! We are delighted with the project result . He was a joy to work with and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services . The project ; the remodelling of a cottage to include the removal and reworking of a staircase and fireplace to create additional living and bedroom space and introduction of a second shower room.
