“Juliet Whelan, the owner of Jibe Design, is wonderful to work with. She helped me renovate my small Philadelphia rowhouse. She fulfilled my dreams for my home, and then went beyond them. Juliet made things happen that others said couldn’t be done in my little space: skylights that brightened everything, floating, lighted shelves built into recesses so that I can grow my plants everywhere, an understated but stunning bathroom with brown teak, cream tiles and brass hardware. This was the exact look and vibe I wanted: modern but warm, polished but earthy, with a sense of nature. Juliet got me there. Renovating a home can be exhausting and nerve-wracking at every turn. But Juliet made the process calm and fun. She worked with my GC and the trades throughout to solve problems that came up. I loved sitting down with her to make all the decisions, from backsplash tile to towel rods. She showed me how each detail in the home added to the larger vision, and guided me through each choice. She kept both aesthetics and functionality in mind. My home not only looks beautiful, but also works so much better than it did before the renovation. She found ways to increase storage space! I can live clutter-free even in only 750 square feet. Juliet is a true artist. But she’s also remarkably level-headed and practical. She shows up, does what she says she’ll do, and her pricing was always clear up front. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“After purchasing a 50+ year old stone home in the Willistown, PA countryside, we hired Archer & Buchanan to design a complete overhaul of the interior, including a new floor plan and new architectural details throughout. Peter Archer took our vision for the the home and turned it into a reality that is even better than we could have imagined. He took the time to really understand our family and our daily routines so that he could design the spaces to best accommodate the way we live our lives. Aside from designing an amazing home for us, Peter is incredibly knowledgeable on the vendors in our area, from builders to decorators to landscapers. He provided invaluable recommendations in each of these areas and helped us build a team that worked cohesively throughout the life of the project. Peter also maintains a positive attitude while finding a way to work through any challenge, and many Houzz readers will know that a large-scale renovation like ours is never short on challenges.
