“Sarah was recommended to me by our architect, after I had asked if he knew a good interior designer who was "classic" and would give me opinions but let me run the process. Sarah and I immediately "clicked"! She came into our half built home and started discussing colors and cohesiveness. Sarah was great at listening and offering her opinion, yet being open to my opinion in paint, wall paper, window treatment design and pattern, rug colors (and pricing). Sara's eye for beauty and "fit" is truly helpful! She helped me NOT make a huge mistake with counter chairs from a local vendor and, instead, gave her opinion about chairs I found in a catalogue. She often suggested things (such as a wallpaper for our den) that I would not have considered and was great at putting her ideas into gorgeously worded narratives (she can "paint" a picture with her beautiful descriptions!). Her artistic sensibilities are helpful when trying to meld old furniture with new and blending inherited rugs with colors and other pieces.. Sarah is not only a wonderful interior designer, but is also a very kind and compassionate person. I have loved working with Sarah!”

“We had the pleasure of working with Dee on total renovations of both our master bath and guest bathroom. Dee is a delight to work with and she made the entire process as streamlined as possible. She showed great creativity in presenting potential materials, designs layouts, fixtures and colors. Just as important, she obtained top notch contractors and sub-contractors who likewise helped make this rather large project proceed smoothly. With Dee’s expertise, advice and hands-on approach our project resulted in two unique and beautiful bathrooms using creative materials that we would never would have been able to envision on our own. We enjoy the results of Dee’s work daily and often comment that using the master bath is a spa-like experience. We highly recommend Dee Hurford designs.”
