“This being our first custom home and living two hours away, Mike and Hayley kept us up to date on all aspects of the build. Mike has a very deep knowledge of different choices and helped guide us through the decision-making process. Hayley was great at arranging all the details and answering our long list of questions. Mike's whole team was exceptional to work with and all his subs had the same good character and passion for quality. When the buyers of our old house wanted to move in earlier than we had expected, Mike and Hayley made sure we could move into our new house on time, and we didn't need to find temporary housing. We really appreciated that. We had heard he was one of the best builders in Lincoln, and we found this to be true.”

“After deciding to build a new house, we made a down payment towards a lot and completed a fairly detailed internet review of 25+ builders in the Lincoln, NE area. Kinning Design Build was our first choice to contact based upon their website, the reviews and ratings of others, their advertised willingness to build on our lot and one particular blueprint that fit our needs very well. We met with them and at the very first meeting received lists of their major sub-contractors and the owners, including contact information, for the homes they had previously built in Lincoln, and were encouraged to contact any of them for references. Wow. Very impressive, Kinning! We moved into our new home in March of this year and have been EXTREMELY happy with it’s quality. Yes, there were a few bumps along the way, but these were dealt with very professionally and in a manner that was completely acceptable to us. The firm uses Co-Construct software to document progress, costs, sub-contract charges, construction loan payments, custom choices, changes, etc., and this was all extremely well documented at every step along the way. We especially appreciated how attentive and available the Kinning’s were throughout the entire process, and also how willing they were to make modifications for us along the way. In summary, we found Kinning Design Build to be extremely honest, highly professional, and excellent managers of their sub-contractors.”
