“I knew that my existing deck needed some repair that would require someone with plenty of experience. After my first meeting with Joe Cologgi I knew I had found the person who could repair my deck. His experience in successfully doing repairs that were similar to what I needed sealed the deal. Joe kept me up to date on the work schedule start date and then during the repair project I always knew the status. Joe and his son Mason did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the completed repair of our deck. Karen in the office was on top of things and the software she uses to provide job proposals and payment tracking were very easy to use. I would definitely recommend Western Elements LLC to anyone looking to repair or replace an existing deck.”

He and his team had to work around and in adverse weather, but the finished product is beautiful. Even the building inspector told me I had selected the best in the area. Dedicated to his craft, Philip was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended !!”

“We recently had front and rear decks replaced by Decks by Schmillen and we are really happy with our new decks. Due to their reputation for excellence and popularity, we had to ‘get in line’ to wait while they completed multiple projects ahead of us. And the wait was well worth it! We were always amazed by the skill, knowledge, and professionalism of each member of the construction team. (Three folks did the bulk of the construction and they completed the work in 9 days.) Doug Schmillen (the ‘boss’) worked with us extensively in advance, both in person and by phone to work out every detail of what we wanted. He was always helpful, giving us the pros and cons of each decision we made, from the overall design to picking construction materials and stains. We definitely recommend these folks if there is a new deck in your future.”
