We worked with Diana on a full home renovation that took about two years, and honestly, what we'll remember most isn't even the beautiful house we ended up with. It's Diana herself. She makes a stressful, expensive process actually enjoyable, warm, quick with a joke exactly when you need one, and never taking herself too seriously while taking the work completely seriously. She checked in on us as people, not just clients, and showed real care during the entire process. She's also a natural teacher. Diana never just handed us a swatch and moved on. She'd explain the "why" behind textiles and materials, walk us through cost trade-offs, and gently push us to think past the pretty picture. She'd say, "It's one thing to see it as a design; it's another to live with it day to day," reminding us to imagine actually dusting that surface or sitting on that fabric years down the road. That long-view thinking saved us from choices we thought were cool/pretty but would have likely regretted. She also saw the whole picture, not just piece by piece. She took our scattered Pinterest boards and conversations about our vision, and turned them into one cohesive style for our entire home, inside and out, making sure appliances felt right with counters and cabinets, and furniture worked with floors and paint, room after room. Nothing felt like a one-off decision. She became our tie-breaker too. Whenever we (a couple) couldn't agree on something, we'd laugh and say, "let's ask Diana," because we trusted she'd never just pick a side. She'd tell us honestly what she thought was best for our long-term goals. She was also just as invaluable with contractors, telling us straight whether a proposal was worth it and fairly priced, pointing us to better options when needed, and, on the rare occasion something went sideways, willing to be the bad cop to make the vendors to make it right. On top of it all, Diana seems to know everyone worth knowing: tile specialists, landscapers, cabinet makers, contractors, painters. Every person she recommended did beautiful work at a fair price, and she actively managed all of them for us so nothing fell through the cracks. If you want a designer with an incredible eye, real organizational rigor, and a genuinely big heart, someone who will teach you, advocate for you, and become a bit of a friend along the way, Diana is it. We adore her and would work with her again in a heartbeat.”
