“My husband and I purchased a home in Red Ledges, Heber Valley, Utah in January 2026. With a few exceptions, the home was unfurnished. I began working with Julie remotely to expedite the process before we arrived in April. Julie guided me in establishing goals, a budget and realistic time frames. Julie was instrumental in helping select a paint color that blended with existing wall decor and gave a warmth to the home. Julie and her team presented furniture boards with options. They definitely listened to our lifestyle preferences and helped us incorporate items that made the move. Their selections were unique and tasteful. Tayler, Heber Showroom Manager and Interior Designer came to our house several times and did an excellent job of guiding us with final furniture selections. Julie and Tayler responded to all inquiries in an efficient manner. They made the project fun and exciting. We are very happy with the quality of rugs and furniture selected and would highly recommend Design Matters.”

“I'll be honest–we were pretty overwhelmed at the thought of doing a full makeover for our home. We knew we wanted a total makeover for our place, but trying to find a team that actually handles the 'boots on the ground' construction side and the high-end design is way harder than it looks. After talking to a few different firms, Kanika Design just felt like the right fit. Kanika really listened to what we wanted. I’ve always been a bit nervous about using bold colors, but she pushed us (in a good way!) for a deeper color palette in the main living areas. It looks incredible. Kanika found us so many unique, high-quality furniture pieces that you just won't find at a big-box store. The biggest thing for us was logistics. Once the design process completed, their team handled everything - architectural, permit headache, and construction. Anyone who has done a remodel knows things never go 100% perfectly, but whenever an issue popped up, they were on top of it immediately. They kept the contractors moving and kept us updated on the budget and what was happening next. It’s a relief to finally be done after 2 years and have a home that feels like us but way better. I can’t recommend Kanika and her team enough. We're still obsessed with how everything turned out.”

“Greg helped us with interior decorating after moving into our new home. We have a few spaces in the home that are a bit of an odd size/layout to decorate, and Greg came to the rescue! He was extremely professional throughout the entire process, and his incredible communication, planning, and management skills only came in second to his design skills. Greg helped us to pick paint colors, curtain designs/fabric, photo collage layouts, furniture for our living areas/bedroom, and decor to tie everything together. During the pandemic, ordering things can be tough, and Greg stayed on top of it every step of the way. We experienced multiple delays and damaged furniture on arrival but having Greg to help us navigate these situations was extremely beneficial. When we needed other tradesmen to come in, his contacts were equally as great to work with. I would recommend Greg to my friends, and will definitely call him again when I need his services in the future. We are still waiting on some final pieces to arrive and as soon as everything is set, I will update with pictures of his work!”
