“My wife and I decided we wanted to explore the idea of renovating/expanding our small townhouse kitchen. We didn't want to invest in simply upgrading counters and cabinetry, paint etc., but rather a full design makeover. We hired SR design knowing that there was always the possibility that given the constraints of the structure (townhouse), we may not be able to move forward. That said, The SR Design team came to our home several times for pre-design work ensuring us that we could in-fact grow our kitchen footprint and add a sizable island. I did have my doubts! Several weeks later I met with Angela at her showroom to review her first rendering. Angela had a beautiful kitchen already on her monitor. I joked " can you make our kitchen look like that" She laughed "it is your kitchen Chris" To say I was blown away would be an understatement. Angela had removed a load bearing wall, added beam, which opened up the entire first floor. She created a work of art! Our kitchen space more than doubled (including a 44X94" island! The project took approximately 6 months as we expected 'surprises' along the way. Throughout the entire process, Angela and her skilled teams navigated through every challenge. To this day, I still look at our kitchen and feel amazed at the transformation of space. Everyone who has been in our house (before and after) can't believe it's the same first floor. We plan on using SR Design for our next project (master bathroom)”

“We moved to Greensboro very quickly for my husband's job. I knew our furniture from our previous house wouldn't all work in the new space. I met with Deborah and from there our first delivery with Transforming Rooms was mid-September (only 16 days after meeting with her and the day after we closed on our house). It was wonderful. Within 6 weeks Deborah & her staff had installed new furniture, rugs, light fixtures, lamps, art, and amazingly comfortable screened in porch Furniture! My husband is very tall, she always kept that into consideration for comfort. I was craving unique, lighter and brighter, which she achieved. Their access to quality pieces with no waiting Is incredible. I enjoyed the viewing days and being able to choose from options! Best of all, as a mom herself, she understood the need for durable, she kept me informed about rug durability and fabric protection, etc. Our new home was very dark and not well lit. She helped us find an amazing chandelier for our family/living room and new wall sconces that I love so much. Our home is now bright and cheery. I can’t believe how many great pieces she found us, and I’m appreciative of their prices for good brands. I now love our new home and can't wait to entertain!”
