“After 24 years, we finally decided to ‘take the plunge’ – expand our kitchen to provide eat-in space and casual seating, a Butler’s Pantry, a Walk-In Pantry, an enlarged Laundry Room, a Family Entry area with Desk, and a Breezeway Entry from our parking area with an enlarged patio space. After our initial meeting with our builder, they in turn introduced us to Brad Dassler-Bethel….and we are so grateful to them for this introduction! What an extraordinarily gifted architect! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Brad as he ‘hit the mark’ on the first conceptual drawings which indicated that he listened and understood exactly what we were hoping to attain. In addition, throughout this project his follow through has been unmatched. When we ‘hit a glitch’ with engineering issues (structural support beams, duct work requiring soffits), he has been there – front and center, with no lag time. When there has been need for additional drawing for an ‘extra idea’/concept, he has responded immediately. And his genius has made everything come together on the first attempt. No ‘back to the drawing’ board. On only two occasions I thought I might modify something but decided his initial design was the more practical, more prudent way - his spatial conceptualization is superb. So, beginning with this 2017 holiday season, we are looking forward to having our new kitchen/living spaces (inside and out) where we can enjoy entertaining and sharing time with family and friends!
