“It was December 31, 2001; we had unfortunately just lost our son; my wife was expecting our 3rd child, and we needed to NEST. We met Buddy in Lexington, KY at a New Years Party. We saw some of his work and were immediately impressed. He started in early March, and by July 12th, the birth of our daughter, he had practically rebuilt our home, inside and out. All he needed was a drawing on a napkin, some minimal discussion, and, within a week, he had produced the "real thing." Buddy worked tirelessly on several "wife-directed" items, and the finished product was AMAZING!! We hope to work with Buddy again. No... “Teri and the team at Avani Studios transformed my kitchen cabinets and countertops from their original 1985 builder's grade look, to a minimalist, contemporary chic that rivals more expensive options. The cabinets were painted a gorgeous shade of white (yes, there are hundreds to choose from), and the dated, beige laminate countertops were primed, painted and finished with a dark slate gray. 3 years later, the finish is as though it were newly completed. Nicole and Teri also prepared and painted the walls a soothing neutral gray which is exactly what I wanted. The project was done professionally, according to the timeline they set, and no mess was left behind. Mine was a simple project in comparison to the capabilities of this extraordinary group of artisans. Highly recommend.”
