“We engaged Kevin and The General Architecture Company because they came highly recommended by friends, their designs really appealed to us, and because they have lots of experience within the Bournville Conservation area where we live. Friendly, communicative and helpful thoughout all stages of the process, we were really happy with the final design and were delighted that Kevin could find solutions to our confined space that we would never have thought of, namely the ability to find space in the loft for a loft conversion, and even for a utility room and boot room downstairs in addition to the generous kitchen we had hoped for. Gaining planning permission has been a surprisingly smooth process and we are excited now for the technical drawing and to start the build. Would highly recommend Kevin for his clear and beautiful drawings, customer approach and knowledge of the local area.”

“From the moment we met Volker, we knew we had found the right architect to deliver our ground floor extension. When we first saw the computer images, we were amazed that such a design could become a reality and our extension! And indeed it did! It’s not a square box on the back of our house but a beautifully crafted space with fascinating angles, large windows, a utility room and a shower room giving us everything we asked for and more! It gives us goosebumps every time we are in the space! And when friends or tradespeople et al visit they are all amazed that such an extension is quietly and proudly sitting on the back of our house without it being obvious from the road. This is all due to the vision and the incredible attention to detail that Volker put into this project, overseeing it from concept to reality. We cannot recommend Volker highly enough!”

“Very happy with the quality of work and the professional service provided by Spectrum Homes team. We had our kitchen extension done by Spectrum Homes, we had skylight windows, bi-fold doors, and a new kitchen with an Island fitted. We had several options to make the right choice from different quotes for the project. To us, it was a great deal of collaboration! The commitment and dedication of the team to the programme and quality was quite impressive. I would use them again for our future project. Highly recommended.”
