What are those green "grass"? - They looks like mainteance free, is it a special kind of moss? Are they resistant to not-so-wet area like Canada Toronto/Montreal summer?

Those giant concrete slabs - Are they poured concrete or they are actually some custom made giant rocks or giant tile? If they are concrete, how thick were they?
