Dsimber, I bet you would love an extra 6 inches on each side of the credenza. Just a little more room for any display - flowers, object d’art, whatever - that won’t looked pinched with TV and art above. Surface space is nice. Also with shorter unit, will you feel like you need something on the floor to fill the void spaces on either side? Just some thoughts…

Our media cabinet is 30” tall and the tv is a few inches higher with the feet. We are happy with the height.

Yes, I am loving my time with my granddaughter! Tomorrow DIL starts the new school year, and I start taking care of Aria again. She has changed so much, and I am going to be working hard to keep up with her!

Wow Mary that looks great. I was not in on the original discussion but am so please to see the results. Are you wanting to keep a mirror there as opposed to art? Is so I think what you have works just fine. It still shows up against the brick and is a nice size and shape.
