Carol, that saying of my husband's came from the war, when he was flying. The undercarriage bit was to remind him to raise it. You're right, not much worry about bombs under cars here! He was a nightwatchman flying over the French coast in a Mosquito, which was largely made of plywood. He also trained pilots in Canada for part of the time, He had great admiration for the people who flew bombers and their crew, as they flew in a straight line and so were sitting ducks.
Just went to see if the blooms had survived another night - and they have! This is Skylight, a Kordes.

Judi, Thelma agrees with you too and says that they expect the blooms to fully develop by the third cycle.
I hate that they sent me an extra and did offer to pay for it but she told me not to worry about it. I’ll have to order an extra this fall to try and make up for it.
