These small footprint treehouses were originally designed to utilize steep terrain in the Village at Cheshire, a traditional neighborhood laid out by Duany Plater-Zyberk of Miami. These houses have become a new vernacular in the Asheville region, due to steep terrain and the trend toward smaller and smarter houses.
