Serambi

These examples of tropical housing uses features for living comfortably in the hot humid weather. High ceilings, transition spaces such as patios and verandahs, ponds and screens to reduce the sky glare all act together to encorage cooling cross ventilation.
The development includes double and single storey townhouses and each house has a lovely garden attached.

The double story houses have two gable ends to break down the size of the roof. The tropical design includes balconies, terraces and timber screens. A corner window maximises two way light in the master bedroom.
