This room was created by removing the walls between the former dining room, living room and kitchen, and expanding the living room space 6' into the formerly unused front porch. To create light in the entry we put a tempered glass panel on the wall separating teh kitchen and entry. The 8' ceilings were raised to the roof plane creating an open an airy space. The crown jewel of the living room is the concrete fireplace and hearth flanked by cherry cabinetry that houses the TV and media components and even an upright piano.
