I like light wall colors with contrast provided by room element such as the mantle of fireplace and the art. This looks modern and clean. The things that catch my eye are the room elements and outdoors not the color of the walls.

Asymetry, art, round coffee table, rug color with fireplace contrast. Do not like the seating, too stiff. Fireplace not appropriate but very cool.
